Anyone has the video sample from the Honda Hatchback stock DVR?
Preferred to have front and back video sample.

guys, wanna ask after few months already driving for this new eHEv engine, any honest comment ka? Cos i thinking to get either RS or V new HRV, but think if macam got long distance, how is the RV engine, enuf power when over take or not those. and the fuel consumption really alot diff compare normal. cos HR-V V spec is 1.5T engine, seems very powerful for the car at that size.

Nice driving experience, smooth, instant throttle response.

Very bad if you always going thru road with many bumps, the recharging engine noise is very loud and weird. or (low-speed)

It will heavily affect the 253nm torque when ur battery required charging. (it is automatic @ 2nd bar level)

70% OKR & 30% highway got me 23km/l fc, full tank can get around 830km.
On highway speeding @ 130km/h only can get 17-19km/l, if you stay around 110km/h still possible to get 20-21km/l

OKR is city driving? Normally drive also inside town only my place small town. So is like extra 1 tank saving compare normal. U mean if drive low speed or like go thru speed bump u need slow and accelerate, the car engine will noisy?

Slow speed will keep using electric only, and the battery drain fast, and charge fast as well. If you plan to drive in city, not really jam.

Less smooth highway, RS battery charging will be a lot, and quite noisy. Usually when you go above 60km/h the charging sounds different, and not rough

Try and test drive the RS, don't go fast, keep go slow only. You will know what is the rough charging sound is about.
It feels like diesel lorry in idle, and very loud if you listen from outside.

But I am okay with it, but I hope the sound proofing can be a lot better, to reduce charging noise

ok thanks for the info. no chance to test drive, just bite the bullet and booked HR-V RS lol. saw UK spec is abit higher and bigger batt for HR-V, hopefully doesnt disappoint. I saw driving experience, alot say drive like an EV. Also wanna ask, if highway cruising 100-110km/h, got enuf power if wan overtake ka?

for City not enough power la.. Feels like Myvi acceleration after 110 above.

HR-V could be faster, as the engine PS is 12x, 20PS higher than City. I have thought to get Civic e:HEV after it officially launch tho,
e:HEV feels good when you drive with 2 people in car, if added 2 more people at the back. It actually not feeling good.

Yes the driving experience definitely better than normal car, but when it comes to power (above 100) meh..

----

I have to mention this first, people buy e:HEV not for it's power, or acceleration.
It's main job to do is to save fuel.

I now forgot to visit petrol station, as I only refuel once a month, or once every 3 weeks.

1 Full tank 35l / RM70 last me around 820km

I see, yeah ppl buy RS for the hybrid tech, not for power. But then not cheap wei lol RS spec so high. If above 120km/h is always on hybrid? Will the electric motor eventually ran out of juice ka?

The battery will never run out of juice, it will always be in re-charging mode when at lowest 2nd bar level or 20%
The engine can push your car forward and at the same time charge ur EV juice

110km/h depend on road condition, if downhill or flat, it can run on EV, once u give more power it will use engine

Below around 40-60 only will use EV, any speed above that, using the engine to maintain/run will be more fuel-efficient than using EV

i see. if normal recharging mode, the engine noise very loud ka? i think loud or not loud, the 1.5T should be even more loud if pedal to metal i believe. Saw most review say is like the car engine noise does not correlate with the speed u drive. I guess it might get some time to get used to it.

how would u rate this e:HEV car then? u feel positive or u have some buyer remorse on it, honestly haha.

Hi guys, anyone uses acc before? If I set my speed to 90 km/h and driving on the left lane and there is a car in front driving around 60 km/h, when I turn the right signal and move my car to the right lane, will it increase the speed a lot to overtake the car or I have to press cancel and accelerate myself?

It is loud when 0-30km/h and battery require semi charge and semi push, louder than normal engine acceleration, even louder than MYVI @ 3000 RPM?
Low speed it still force the to use the EV, but the EV does not have enough juice, so the engine instant charge the EV and EV direct output again.
I would say it maybe look like the pasar malam electric generator that kind of noise, but 30% less quiet than that, but still very loud.

The charging noise are different when you're above 60km/h, you know it is charging, but the noise is a lot quieter than low speed.

If I say what I hate the most, was the charging noise at low speed, or idle.
It suppose to be an EV like car, I could amaze others when I start engine and 0 noise.
But it always start the charging immediately, maybe it is due to cold boot.

Driving experience is great, the instant no delay acceleration at traffic light is madness, and very great for traffic jam.

I didn't go rage anymore after sitting in eHEV, compared to myvi. It is comfortable.

Quiet and 0 vibration, pretty good NVH, just listen to music and jam.

I would say it is a different experience than petrol engine.

And you get to enjoy the e-Pedal braking when you let go the acceleration pedal.

okies thanks for the feedback. u say loud is like inside cabin also very loud? lol. how about vibration wise? i think if engine noise is still okayish if there is no much vibration. And also the start stop of the engine to charge battery, u will feel got jerk or wat ka? Cos i know previous honda civic hybrid older one, when at traffic light stop the car, then u lift brake pedal the engine restart back that jerk, sibeh annoying. Even bmw 5 series this function also very jialat can feel the jerk when engine restart. e-Pedal braking means don need press brake it sort of use engine to brake right? yeah my driving style i also prefer to lift of pedal and let car cruise abit to stop, instead of 100km/h hard brake to stop, probably gonna appreciate this regenerative braking thingy.

I also wan ask about the honda sensing, if traffic jam also can use one? it will auto stop car then auto follow back ka? i think x50 is can auto follow bak la.. not sure honda sensing.

no vibration no jerk at all
just feel acceleration very sluggish when the battery is charging / not enough juice

City just semi Sensing, not full spec. Only can follow after 70km/h, I have not tested the full Honda Sensing
Only available to Civic, not sure about HRV

ah ok good no vibration no jerk, at least this part is well done, cos i cannot tahan can feel those jerk sometimes. i tot if need more power the engine direct drive the generator to provide output to motor lol.

i see, i see the ads say HR-V honda sensing is most complete ever lol. Lets see what they offer. thanks for alot of input, sorry offtopic about HRV at here but i think tis is the only place can ask about haha.

It seems like alot UK review complain about i-mmd the engine noise when pedal hard.. hmmm

Hi guys, can I know where you guys install the RFID?
I went to RFID fitment centre and they said my car cannot install on windscreen due to my tinted. So they install on headlamps, but I found some RFID tools can't detect it, so annoying. Any other good spot to out the RFID sticker?

Especially those who keep using RFID toll in LDP. Thank you.

He meant behind the number plate of the front of your car....

Anyway I installed mine top left of the windscreen but inside the car with 3M crystalline tint... works fine! Bought those sticker kits from Shopee so that you can stick elsewhere if required... trick is you can only test it at the toll!

Too bad the RFID guy said not work for my tint...

I have requested for a RFID sticker replacement, but still not sure where to stick it. 😪
