Just went to see the new City at Honda showroom, my friend noted that on the front passenger seat, the leg area seems to be flat, then suddenly goes up to a gradient that is quite high and quite uncomfortable. If the legs move back to the flat area then it will also equally get uncomfortable at the lumbar area after awhile, not sure why there's such an odd design. Tried is myself and it indeed feels like an unnatural position compare to other cars.

Also dont know why they put single tone alloy on V spec but dual tone on E, make the V spec look like the cheaper model lol

if you notice
S and E alloy wheel is exactly same design, just E with dual tone
V and RS alloy wheel is exactly same design, just RS with dual tone

p/s: can done the black tone outside sweat.gif then V will looks like RS

Hmm I didn't take note of that before this, if like that then its definitely not an issue then, since very easy to take out and make it dual tone huhu

The length of the engine bay has eaten into the interior space. The gradient is to give a false sense of impression that the leg room is still roomy but like TS said uncomfortable after a while. Has been to some other cars like that. That's my take on this as it is running on the same chasis like the outgoing model.

Finally City comes with autolock! No need to install silly OBD module. Still no auto folding side mirrors though.

Looks good overall but is it just me or the interior design is so so? I mean the ac vent design i think persona is better.

The Lanewatch is a very nice feature to have. The dual tone interior is also good. NVH is typical Honda, saw the other his new Almera video i think NVH (engine sound insulated better than the new City. His other Persona video NVH poorerst among the 3 but mostly due to the stock tyres.

But im not sure now i think will ahve to wait for Persona 2021 to keep my option open. Some people say will have new CVT

Was originally considering the S variant, and custom change the seats to leather. But the entertainment on the S variant is really hideous and (for me) is a deal breaker. So, is considering to pay the extra 7.5k even though I don't use the cruise control or paddle shift. Now comes the real dilemma, for an extra 5K, I can get all the leather interior look (not just seats, but steering wheel and upholstery as well), 4 additional speakers, plus LED headlamp, extra air bags and smart assist lane camera VS the extra 3K just to custom change to leather seat. The extra 5k from V to E seems to be a really good deal.

So, from S variant, I'm suddenly considering V variant which cost 13k more  cry.gif

V would be the better one la
E the steering feel really cannot , you need to drive daily wor , touch daily lagi

5k to V also get you LED headlight, if you try driving around with a factory fitted LED before, they outperform halogen by miles

i think same thing happen to the Gm6 city where the floor is slightly tilted

as pointed out by other , V actually use the exact rim as per RS just different colour
but still Honda people really shit in deciding the colour , it machine finish then paired with a light silver,
its dual tone nonetheless but its a dual tone that look like a single tone to 99% of human .... shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif

i heard Persona 2021 will get torque converter CVT, but its sources from china, not sure how would it perform
you got to wait long term review first because most car reviewer tend to pancut awal saying is good , alot better then the old ,
same last time 4 at to cvt ,
then now punch is the most Hated thing in proton cars
saga even migrate back to 4at and gain more sales sweat.gif
