The S variant is not badly equipped. I was expecting steel rim with cover, 2 airbags and no rear AC vent.

I wonder it worth to pay extra 7K+ for the E variant. hmm.gif

E spec got

2 tone alloy wheel - dont affect ur driving experience
Auto aircond - well i dont mind not having this. Already used to manual
8" screen - i dont mind this at all except not havibg reverse camera display
Cruise control - passive cruise control only relaxes your foot, not your mind. You will constantly worry about the speed when traffic suddenly busy. Its a good stuff for not busy traffic on highway
Paddle shift - i dont need this
Reverse cam - good to have. But i got used to look around, use sensor and reverse. That skill will be gone in the future generation
Remote engine start - i forsee another popular issue from this soon
Chrome door handle - don't affect driving

Thats all. Only reverse camera and cruise control will be missed. Others not so much. If you ask me. Not worth 8k

Ohh yea, forgot about it. What else will void warranty? Change tyres won't right?

Was originally considering the S variant, and custom change the seats to leather. But the entertainment on the S variant is really hideous and (for me) is a deal breaker. So, is considering to pay the extra 7.5k even though I don't use the cruise control or paddle shift. Now comes the real dilemma, for an extra 5K, I can get all the leather interior look (not just seats, but steering wheel and upholstery as well), 4 additional speakers, plus LED headlamp, extra air bags and smart assist lane camera VS the extra 3K just to custom change to leather seat. The extra 5k from V to E seems to be a really good deal.

So, from S variant, I'm suddenly considering V variant which cost 13k more  cry.gif

I know that feel biggrin.gif if you are having hard times deciding which variants you need, it means they done good job.

For me, its either S or V. biggrin.gif

Just went to see the new City at Honda showroom, my friend noted that on the front passenger seat, the leg area seems to be flat, then suddenly goes up to a gradient that is quite high and quite uncomfortable. If the legs move back to the flat area then it will also equally get uncomfortable at the lumbar area after awhile, not sure why there's such an odd design. Tried is myself and it indeed feels like an unnatural position compare to other cars.

Also dont know why they put single tone alloy on V spec but dual tone on E, make the V spec look like the cheaper model lol

My guess is they make the car low but don't have enough space. Lol

Haha. Damn the car is so long, when I first saw it it was looking like a borderline D segment length car!

Yes long but narrow wheelbase. Not sure how the ride. Have to test drive

The boot capacity also massive. Does the rear look out of poroportion or nornal?

Finally City comes with autolock! No need to install silly OBD module. Still no auto folding side mirrors though.

Looks good overall but is it just me or the interior design is so so? I mean the ac vent design i think persona is better.

The Lanewatch is a very nice feature to have. The dual tone interior is also good. NVH is typical Honda, saw the other his new Almera video i think NVH (engine sound insulated better than the new City. His other Persona video NVH poorerst among the 3 but mostly due to the stock tyres.

But im not sure now i think will ahve to wait for Persona 2021 to keep my option open. Some people say will have new CVT
