are you sure vios is obsolete? honda city is a carried forward platform as well since 2008 model

brows.gif
vios carry over since 2007 your point doesn't validate too dry.gif dry.gif

city crash protection already included 25% small overlap crash and up to 980mpa steel usage
please try your very best to convince me your vios is better when the steel max out 590mpa and A pillar snap during the easy Asean ncap

the power lagi no need say , the vios cannot fight at all

the one n only thing vios could win is NVH , other than that is rubbish icon_rolleyes.gif
give u BSM but accuracy 0 , give 360 but not clear and screen itself is not clear too
the arm rest got 0 storage capability aside storing some tissue perhaps ?
n vios seat is beaten flat by honda city seat innocent.gif

Hi guys,

Here is another review of the RS e:HEV, but in ENGLISH!

Hopefully there will be more reviews in English for us to understand this car better.

Fixed?

QUOTE(liyanakahar @ Jan 26 2021, 10:05 AM)
why you people dont take vios? vios come with ADAS from mid spec onward while city only has it on its highest spec
*
I'm sure you survey the vios group also. N I'm sure you'd noticed the qc is a bit bad.
Anyway, I like city for the auto cruise. But I'd hope the car use AT instead of cvt.

Inside news said suppose to be tommorow RS price but then they told me no indication from Honda Malaysia yet. So most likely will be postpone again to Feb 2021..

Perhaps with global shortage of microchips, RS spec delayed even further to give ways for petrol variant which have long list of bookings.

Well who knows, maybe tomorrow suddenly got announcement from Honda lol.

Spoke to a SA near me and he said RS expected price 100-105k. Was expecting sub 100k, small possibility it might be still? ๐Ÿ˜…

SA offer me E & V spec @ 84k and 89k with free spoiler kit as gift.

Is it totally worth it for the spoiler?

Depends on you like the kit or not, the kit is around RM2k, which means your car is around RM87k.

cant remember which link bro, I was casually browsing Facebook.
You can try to join this group and ask around

https://www.facebook.com/groups/413517642867989

The official price is RM4k, but my SA told me you can install it at dealer-authorized workshop, they are using the original body kits, but offering at much cheaper price ( RM2k++ ) only. And since it is dealer-authorized, you can have the warranty from the workshop too.

To me, I always prefer cash rebate than any free gift. After getting the car you can always find better and cheaper choices out there.
Try to deal with SA saying you don't want any free gift, but give you the best price possible.

Well if the price is too high, people will go for other options. Also the competition, Ioniq, is already at this price. So if priced higher, what is the value proposition? Above 100k, people will just consider the Civic or wait for X50, even if the tax rebate expires. If they want to price it above market also, they would do it after the rebate expires. But we will have to see, the Thai pricing is an indicator that pricing the RS for our market is going to be challenging. We can only hope that they don't down spec the model for our market.

Also when Honda Malaysia takes this long to launch, when Thai people are already driving it on their streets, is an indicator that there is red tape in the way. MITI determines the final pricing of the car, unfortunately. This is a repeat of when the HRV RS was trying to launch in our local market. Honda had already teased and started taking booking for 6 months before it actually launched. Eventually, many canceled and decided to wait for the X50 or go for other options instead.

Just my 2sen.

honestly wtf are Honda Malaysia doing with the RS and price, im sure its because of the whole MITI price agreement thing as well but to promise by year end last year and its february already. since they made that announcement of the city and said that initial RS timeline i think its been 4 or nearly 5 months of no new news, or even updates to the status.

Unacceptable.

I gave up. Already booked 1.8s civic. While waiting for the car most probaly End March or Early April.
If RS launch will grab it but i doubt so. Super quite and no news at all keeping RS fans in dark. ranting.gif
