I think most of the apps use facial recognition nowadays for payment authentication. But most of us disable the feature cause it cannot detect our face when we are wearing masks.

facial recognition before payment is simply absurd, at least at this juncture.
impossible force ppl pull down their mask for sake of facial recognition before payment.
fingerprint would be way better.

Fingerprint authentication could only be available for those phones with this function. Could be that the function was not enabled at all. Try to check the setting i'd say.

can't see any in eTnG's app settings - just the face unlock and all my phones have fingerprint function enabled in their android's setting
