Can't say the best but it is accepted most widely .
TnG even considered as cash value in 7-11

I am actually trying to compare with Grab , Boost and Shopee

Grab points value is low, Boost worse.

Shopee pay was good previously when have constant cashback, butt now seems to reward coins only.

I think either Shopee/Tngo place first, then grab and boost

Edit: Maybank QR sometimes reward good cashback as well, so I think it's above boost at least

You don't know the value of GrabPay.
This December, everyone has 2x to get 30% off Grabpay online store, (Max rebate RM 30) ,
That alone 1 voucher already eclipsed all the possible cashback from ShopeePay / Touch N Go already .

Previously shopeepay have generous quota from the voucher, now the voucher is like RM 1.20 / RM 1 cashback only .


Review from me :

Grabpay
- Very niche to use , market penetration not high
- Cannot cashout
- but cashback / reward value usually very high with high spending , example cashback RM 20 for RM 200 spent those kind of stuff
- Platinum user has 1.67% average cashback , if redemption on Pointsback its' approximate 3% cashback

ShopeePay
- More wide and wide market penetration
- Able to cashout + able to use to pay bill etc with ease
- Now reward is mostly coin which force u to use in Shopee ecosystem only (cannot use to offset amount pay
- Shopee voucher value dropping from RM 4 -> RM 3 -> RM 1.20 -> RM 1 , most likely cash burning stopped
- plus less and less Free Shipping voucher granted in Shopee

Touch and Go
- Most wide market penetration , everyone around me can accept TnG as mode of payment with ease
- Considered as cash value in 7-11 aka u can reload Shopeepay with TnG
- Go+ can withdraw and now offering competitive interest rate
- Not much high value cash-rebate


I didn't review Boost coz since they always depreciate the value of their boost coin (now become boost star) , so i think the reward is not justified for me = not a user anymore

Why do you place TnG first?
Besides GO+ 4% promo and monthly 7E promo, I don't find anything interesting with TnG.
Shopee better with the cashback.
For point based reward, Grab tend to be better than Boost

You're missing the 2nd half, which is that you withdraw to bank.

No problem credit card for top up, my 9.5k in GO+ was all from CC, I've never used FPX or anything besides CC to reload TnG.

But if you play the withdraw to bank game (and probably immediately large amount) then of course will ban.

I like the fact that when I launch the app and have no connection, the QR still loads and able to make payment via QR. It's quite useful for the no-connection area especially groceries in shopping malls which usually situated at the basement area.

How to make payment without connection?

Hmm maybe that time my TnG already running before heading to the place, managed to click the QR and scan but I always make sure that I have enough balance and linked with CC that can auto charge if balance is insufficient.

I remember I managed to do this like 2-3 times, in places with sporadic coverage, it doesn't have to fully load it. I could be wrong but managed to do it wor

If you scan QR, then internet connection is required. But if merchants scan you, then even without internet connection, transaction can still go through smoothly. Next time, put your phone on "flight mode" and try to use it at 7/11 and see, it works!!

Slide the tile of the used voucher left and then tap the Scissors icon. Same like how you delete item from your lazada cart. This will gray out redeemed vouchers.

My Rewards Voucher remain 4 to choose only, right? Keep waiting for 7-11 to restock.
