Pity x50 did not follow Coolray or Binyue with DVR built-in connected to the 360 cameras. The 360 view is not 3D like Coolray/Binyue/x70 but instead 2D. Heard the the side cameras is a bit low resolution.

Includes the insurance pricing. Remove it and you get the launch price.

Public bank banker offered me 2.3 % rate for 7 years.
With down payment the monthly payment is 1050.

How about you all ?

In just two weeks after the Proton X50’s preview, over 20,000 bookings have been racked up. And it’s already been nearly a month later so the figure has only gone up. Checks with several Proton dealers confirm the waiting time of around 6 months for the Proton X50 if you book one today.

Premium, if flagship around 1.45K.
If your rate is the same as mine or higher than mine then I will go ahead and submit document for loan approval already 🙊

Exec dashboard is grey, so OK la

Yeah grey looks good. I wonder how pink will match orange on Flagship or Premium? I am considering orange Premium, but prefer grey dashbord!

2nd option is Metalic silver exterior.

I can confirm this. Camera is lackluster for a car that comes from land of cheap stuff.

Anyone make any features comparison to original Geely yet? These findings are based on my first hand POV at proton cyberjaya. They have premium in white and flagship in red. Hv yet to do a test drive.

Plus:
1. rear aircond vents
2.

Minus:
1. No mood lights based on driving mode all around the car.
2. No integrated DVR.
3. 2D view of car
4. Off center steering wheel
5.

Ps: maybe proton can add high res camera in the tech pack as well.

Test drive just now at hzn kelana jaya. Recently open the SA said only got around 50 x50 booking atm so if the allocation according to branch probably can get faster.

They let you test drive without booking first. Just walk in.

My conclusion from the test drive session;

1. 360 camera damn fugly. So so so bad trust me. X70 is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy~eyyyy better
2. Quite annoying with the adas system. Kejap2 beep(I'm driving in a busy road after all). SA said can turn off
3. Cabin noise is very good.
4. Acceleration in sport mode is great. Comfort/normal mode also not bad.
5. Very nimble. Steering feedback light. Good in low speed traffic. No test done on high speed so nothing to say.
6. Boot can fit normal wheelchair from my wife imaginary measuring skill. Skill she have from the past 30+ years(oku sister) so I agree with her.
7. Engine noise normal je. Some said same with 4x4, i don't agree.
8. Seat comfortable enuf for me. 87kgs 164cm the seat booster doesn't kacau my sitting.

Overall great. I'm sticking with my Flagship orange booking.

2. Tuned to M'sia ride and handling

Minus :
1. No mood lights based on driving mode all around the car.
2. No integrated DVR.
3. 2D view of car
4. Off center steering wheel (acceptable minor misaligned)
5. Nets for storage at the side of the boot
6. Power socket beside the boot light

Optional
1. Power tailgate (no kick sensor)

Ps: maybe proton can add high res camera in the tech pack as well.

I'm one of the day 1 booking customer, loan already approved, went to see see and touch the car yesterday

No doubt the first impression for the car is good, it looks very good at first glance, but once I go into the car, first thing I've noticed is the ugly weld mark on the door that many has seen. The more time you spend in the car the more flaws you'll noticed, giving me the impression the car looks good on the outside, but skin deep there could be lots of flaws we can see.
Also the price for the premium spec is not what I expected, was expecting it to be within 80k range.
Lastly... the SA couldn't promised the "paksa-rela" add-on package as compulsory or not, as well as can't promise the car to be delivered within this year to enjoy the SST discount.
So with all those uncertainty, and higher than expectation price, decided to cancel my bookings.

We walked over to next H* showroom, saw their lower priced new model, got ready stock, IMO also got much better aftersales support & RV, so booked that on the spot and will get it within next month.

The 106K that the other user highlighted included the insurance. But yeah, will be lower if you carry over your NCB if you have existing car.

Yes correct.

And pending for overall ownership cost as we don't have official service price yet. Do we have to buy 2 4L oil or 4L plus 1L. Proton will sure mark the price.

Since it has 5 year warranty, you will stuck to service at proton for that period of time.. better find a good dealer if you are considering to buy it.
