i just run the script to install spotify and the steering button for skip songs is not working on spotify but no problem on screen. skip button no problem for radio

same mine doesnt work for spotify, even the voice command, but it works on the default apps.

Unfortunately Akotek came out with rhe OTA app via Astore.
Did you remember that you installed the new OTA?

As for the 644 that downloading, I have no idea for now.
Just let it be and don't click "install now".
See if that will pop-up everytime you start car.
Sametime, if you got the hidden settings apk installed, then you can try look for that new ota app package name .
Disabled that new OTA app might help.

change to car launcher

Steering control does not work in Spotify.
It works over phone if you use Android Auto /Apple Carplay.
Maybe you can control via Spotify remotely? If your phone and IHU logged in with same Spotify account.

What is this piece of software?

Noted, as of now, the best I can do is not to hit the button to update/upgrade. Hopefully when doing my next service, SC will not do it but I will surely remind them not to.

Forgot to share with you guys, a month ago I went to service my car at COSE, tried claiming the side mirrors.

Guess what, it was approved immediately. Luckily they were in stock, so they just did the replacement during the service.

Yes. Now I can adjust the viewing angle further than before. So, now can have a wider view which is a very important safety requirement for me.

I never noticed the wind noise before & after change, coz I have door visors installed, so noise will always be there when I drive at higher speeds.

ahh i see, i bought the concave small mirror in the early days, but if wind noise improved maybe can change lol. thinking not to because i dont have the whistling

anyone experience the side mirror, when locking or unlocking when the mirror closing got squeaking noise?

i yet dissemble the sidemirror.
i think it use plastic gear, so you need lubricate it.

mine was like that upon collecting the car, about 9 months old already.
did ask SC to check the mirror durin the prev service but they didn't have enough time

my car also have that turning taktak noise, but its almost dated 3 yr lol
it just minor issue, as it only sound like 1~2 second when mirror folding.
for me, if SC can change my mirror module to V2 solving the windnoise will be much appreciated


for your issue mean at the first the lubricate not enough, definitely not worth the time to go SC just queue for lube the gear or align it
you can try ask friend that open accessories shop and ask them help. faster.
(disclaimer: not protek the proton SC... just the issue not worth the time to keep going for SC)
