QUOTE(matrix88 @ Dec 10 2021, 05:24 PM) its either 2 of the below, sure can be fixed, probably they are lazy to do it for you 1) Rubber strip not installed properly, this is the same as if people go and install soundproof strip, and the door become difficult to close 2) Door latch mechanism that need to be aligned slightly. can fine tune by adjusting the 3 latch / locking mechanism at the car/door area. I just spoke to the branch manager of the outlet I purchased from. He is giving me another story, that the driver side door is harder to close due to the tight air seal. Is that really the case? How come I never heard about this story before. The good thing is, the branch manager ask me to bring to the showroom, he will look at it. If genuinely got problem, he will get HQ to solve it for me. But it's so troublesome, if only they accept there was an issue during the car collection, they could've resolved it back then already. https://streamable.com/bqkz4uVideo of the issue I have with the door. It's a real annoyance, and over the longer term afraid if hard hitting will knock the parts loose. This post has been edited by contestchris: Dec 11 2021, 10:34 PM

QUOTE(gl0be.iv @ Dec 18 2021, 04:32 PM) SA told me if I get blue or orange back in November can get the car early but I still wanted the grey. So maybe if getting those two can get by roughly 4 months. Damn man, I wanted blue but SA said only have grey if I wanted it then

Does eco mode give better mileage? If yes, in what scenario is it beneficial over the normal mode?
1) Low-speed, stop-start (e.g. during traffic jam or running short errands near the house) 2) Medium speed, smooth flowing driving (e.g. driving at around 60-80km/h) 3) High speed driving, smooth flowing (e.g. on highways at 120km/h) 4) High speed driving, unsmooth flowing with lots of acceleration and decelerations (e.g. on highways with some traffic, 120km/h slow down to 60km/h, back to 120km/h etc)

QUOTE(jinnodo @ Jan 1 2022, 10:57 PM) Yo guys, I just got my x50 flagship on Christmas Eve. Went up to penang for the new year week. Filled up full tank at Georgetown and after 5 days of city drive, tank was blinking. Is this normal? At about 20l/100km, it’s a lil bit too high no? I’m getting 250km max on a full tank of city drive (on eco mode) ????!! Anybody else experiencing this? It’s crazy high yo.. I think can challenge F1 FC at this rate zzz I drive back from Melaka and then balance in KL...I got around 530km (filled the tank absolutely to the full, and when I refuel there was around 50km range left). In KL I'm lucky don't drive during jam. My FC based on meter was 13.6km/L (7.35L/100km) for that tank, but in reality my calculation says I only got around 12.8km/L (7.81L/100km). How is this? I consider myself light footed, but I will slowly build up to 100-120km/h whenever possible then maintain. On the highway, on the way back from Melaka, it was 120-140km/h. EDIT: No eco mode (I don't see any significant difference w/ and w/o eco mode to be honest). Exec variant. Mileage around 2k. This post has been edited by contestchris: Jan 4 2022, 06:19 PM

QUOTE(death_nite @ Jan 8 2022, 12:18 PM) Im referring to rear interior lights. Mine don't work according to the manual. Front interior lights are okay. Can some others confirm if their rear interior lights work automatically? I'm in Exec version

When car is stopped at traffic light, do you just hold leg brake at D1, or put to N, or put to P? Which is the best to do, from fuel economy point of view?

Does anyone here have X50 Executive variant?
Is the automatic door light sensor for the rear interior lights working for you? For me, the sensor only seems to work for the front lights.
Much appreciated if you can confirm the above.
Thanks!

QUOTE(li_hat @ Feb 15 2022, 10:08 PM) if you mean cabin lights, yup just light up at front only. Yes, cabin lights. Is this how it is supposed to function? Cause in the manual appears that the rear light should work too. https://pictr.com/images/2022/01/08/BwmOKX.jpgThis post has been edited by contestchris: Feb 15 2022, 11:01 PM

Hi folks, quick question.
Received car: 2nd Nov 2021 1st service: 10th Dec 2021 2nd service date: 10th June 2022
Based on the service sticker on my car from the Proton SC, it seems to be the 2nd service date is 6 mths FROM the 1st service.
Is this correct? Is it supposed to be 6 months from the 1st service, or 6 months from the date of receipt of the car?
My current mileage is around 5,800km in 6 months, shouldn't be an issue if service in June...but just worried if that voids the service schedule / warranty.

Any idea what's the maximum supported charging speed for the main USB port at the front of the car? How about the rear USB ports?

After 6+ months with my X50 Executive, I must say I'm very happy with the car. Driving is smooth, especially on empty roads. Comfortable for long journey. Handling is superb. Even fuel economy not too bad once you learn how to manage. All my friends and relatives who have sat in the car and tested it only have good things to say.
To me, the most disappointing aspect of the car is the Display/Entertainment unit. Such a laggy ass tablet. I would have much preferred it if they just kept it simple and removed all useless/slow features such as maps and voice navigation. Simply makes the car feel cheapo by integrating a RM500 tablet in there.

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Jun 7 2022, 12:02 PM) Just whatsapp or call your local service center to appoint date and time. and just to make sure they got all parts you need for the service. Yes I know, I'm asking if I need to follow proton x50 official service schedule or do anything extra if the workshop asks me
