Lol. More until can fight with Myvi already.
No more wow factor but it's a good car.

Well more car means better support and spare parts outside.

Haha! You thinking of Myvi / Axia?
City driving - Lucky to get 10-11km/l
Highway 140km/h - 12km/l
Highway 120km/h - 14km/l doable
Highway 90km/h - 15km/l

don't expect the turbo engine to be economical....it has to burn plenty of petrol to produce the power you feel when the turbo kicks in....

Don't think it will be like Myvi...More like Honda City..Those who are driving sedan might consider getting X50 now since they are about on the same price range.

Power of Marketing. To be fair, I don't think people who buys Myvi is buying it for fuel consumption anymore.

not comparable, cz 1.5NA engine with a mere 120hp and a CVT GB. If u need FC better at daily traffic jem, don't take any small displacement turbocharged engine, the later only perform well at highway drive for FC, doesn't matter what brand

that CVT helps for FC, due to more efficiency and lower the final rpm at highway legal speed vs say 4/5 gear auto torque converter. but the reliability is another question mark, In previous gen HRV, plenty of owners had GB CVT k.o and claim once under warranty (T&C by Honda, valid 1 time)

Pure City drive like me get me around 8-9km/l only

But the same goes with my MT VVT Persona as well which I personally feel the FC is quite close to my previous MT Myvi, I'm getting around 9-10km/l only.

Kuchai Lama area with lots of uphill and u know I hardly went beyond 3rd gear speed due to my travel distance is really near around housing area.

But do I care about it that much?
No, cause I only fuel up once every 2-3 weeks. That translate to <RM200 petrol spent a month.

This week - read his forum from page 1-20 then skip to 170-last page.
Tuesday go to showroom to see the car (plan to buy next year, Oct). Guess what, at proton the SA is my previous forte SA. 😅 . Bought forte Dis 2009.
Today - submit loan for premium. Can get in 2month time he say.

even at highway speed, no fuel efficiency....i get the same fc for both the aruz NA 1.5l and x50....but x50 definitely much better acceleration at cruising speeds 80-120kph....

believe your Aruz 1.5 4-speed auto limitation, based on my last time test this, it had high rpm at relatively normal speed. 3.5k rpm at 120kmh, it make it not so ok for highway cruising, hence effect FC. Plus the big size

I am comparing not between driving style, but the same style using 2 different vehicles....it just shows that the highway fuel consumption of the 2 cars are about the same...

yes, the tuning of the aruz is such that the engine runs at a high rpm in highway driving...hence i expected the fc to be worse than the x50....but it turns out about the same....

the 2 rivals are about the same weight....1.3 metric tons....although the aruz is slightly longer...

sounds bad

are you heavy foot?

my monthly mileage about 2000km

so if 8km/l @ rm2.05 ron95 = RM512.50 fuel for me hmm.gif

No problem with mine. Using Atlas Auto version 1.0.2. Pretty stabile so far & can still remote start. YouTube Vanced can't be use already though as it is asking to update. It seem Google/Youtube stop support for Android 5. Using Newpipe now
