Just changed both side mirror to new version, haven't get the chance to try the wind noise, however Driver viewing angle is much better now.

Meanwhile they changed my rain sensor but my rain sensor still turned on at uneven road even without rain, now I wonder is it something else that causing this hmm.gif

I complain that the Side Mirror not able to extend the desired angle causing blindspot and dangerous + there is wind noise at high speed.

BTW all parts took 6 months to arrive.. Rain Sensor + 2 side mirror

I'm not paying for anything.

may help to ask your SC if wanna to buy that sidemirror parts how much will cost. just parts and screw that needed.
*
For viewing angle no choice really have to change, but if it solve the turbulence wind noise, that I can only tell if involved in fast moving highway.. recently only driving around town

Same issues, wind noise and extension angle. Mine has been 4 months and have to restart the damn process last week due to incompetent Service Advisor and case handover issue. So now have to wait for god knows when for my new side mirrors
I suggest you to change SC, as there's actually memo on the wind noise (wind turbulance noise at >80kmh), which is to replace with new side mirror, if you are using first model side mirror. No need to fork out own money to buy when you can claim for free. I try to ask for the memo or reference no., cant promise they'll share to me or not though
*
I recall last time there is someone mention about a memo of a part that could cause some loose noise when going through uneven surface/bump, did you happen to know what is the part again?

No worries, previously using family car only which was serviced regularly by our regular mechanic. But now this car is mine so need to learn how to do regular checking/maintenance.
*
Only older car need to worry about overheating, usually new car do not have such problem, even if it does there is Thermometer indication as long it never go beyond half, your car is good.

The Radiator don't "Drink" water, it was a completely sealed system and the coolant reduction will be very negligible.

All in all these 3 years as long you service in service center, your coolant/engine fluid should be in healthy level unless there's a defect.

If you really worry, before going for a long trip,

1. Check your engine fluid level should be 3-5 bars from the stick (not full).
2. Open bonnet, on left there is a reservoir for Radiator, make sure it wasn't lower than min.
3. Top up wiper fluid if needed.

Take a good read of the user manual, you might discover many useful tips you are not aware of

For those who is curious if the new side mirror design would help with wind noise, after a few short attempt to 90km/h -130km/h I notice the wind noise greatly reduced, not completely silent but already at acceptable level that it won't stand out unless you pay attention to it. Of course a soft music volume will definitely mask the noise.

But anyway my test is just a very brief <30 second of travel above speed 100km/h

In short if you curious does it help a lot? Yeah I would say quite a lot but not completely silent still which is very acceptable to me, before this above 90km/h I could hear some wind noise like window is not completely shut like that from Passenger side, this is totally gone now.

Hi Guys, i am currently looking to get X50. I did watch few review on internet but i would like to know from actual owner experience in term of common problem or issue. Does the wind noise really bad after 120km/h?
*
Newer one should be solved with new side mirror design for wind noise.

Personally my unit approaching 2nd year at 22k mileage, I do not have issue from it other than the minor one like Wiper Sensor may not turn off on its own occasionally.

Appreciated your replies... my last visit SC said its on 47% and they said could die anytime.
But 1 month later it is still doing just fine for me just wondering should I even change it now because my wife delivering in about 1 month time don't want the car to fail at crucial hour.

Thus checking if many people able to make it beyond 2 years... mine currently at 1 year 8 months and my car park at basement not exposed to sun as well.

if i were u, I will buy the battery charger online and put the car's battery to charge up for a few hours. my other car is with a battery that was changed back in June 2019, I put on a Foxsur charger once a month.
*
For the worst case I have battery jumper, but a bit worried because the same unit jumper I had that someone reported here couldn't jump start the x50 previously

Not really lol, usually review time all praise sky high even when X50 time like no weaknesses one..

+ in term of aftersales gonna see how Chery going from here, don't think their SC will be as much VS Proton's

Most importantly mine is rare breed with GKUI and new side mirror icon_idea.gif

Wanted to ask about this battery charger on your X70, did you remove the battery and if you did any trouble reconfiguring the car system?

Wondering if anyone actually take out their battery for this...

I am considering the X50. As this car has been around for some time, appreciate feedback from owners.
Any issues due to 3cylinder engine?
Is support & service satisfactory?
Cost of regular service?
Any mechanical issues?
Spare part price at spare part shop?
*
2 years owning the car now with mileage 23k TGDI engine
-No issue with engine, did not have worsen engine vibration like new
-My service at Reiwa OKR is good so far
-Service cost u can refer to the service schedule, I felt like service cost of any other SUV except Perodua being cheaper.
-No mechanical issues so far
-Haven't buy any spare part so far, u can look it up online Shopee/Lazada there's ppl selling them.

Finally picking up my car today back from SC after being left over since Tuesday. I have been complaining about my brake disc.

Lines were developed and there is annoying sound everytime when I brake. First SC I went they refused to submit a warranty claim for me insist they can only skim the disc for me but without changing the brake pads, god know what lines appeared again like two months later. I have switched to another SC and finally they willing to submit claim for me, but I have to pay for the brake pads myself.

Haiz my car only 1 year old and already 2x experienced where my car have to stay over at SC. Hopefully after this will be smooth smooth bah
*
Disc Brake most likely wear and tear and situational.

Consider lucky to get approved for warranty claim, other makes like Honda I think they'll just say this is wear and tear, because the lines developed could be due to stone/dust stuck on brake pad.

hey guys. is the newer batch still plagued by problems? will you still recommend people to buy this car? is executive worth it?
*
Mine approaching 2nd year, things were going well especially the heavily criticized 3 cylinder engine still doing its job too without noticeable worsened vibration.

Since the new batch all came with updated side mirror, wind noise will no longer be a concern.

Compared to other makes I think the non Android Auto/Carplay headunit is the only deal breaker to me, if you can accept that it should be a decent car.

Exec is good enough for normal usage, Flagship is only if you fancy those L2 autonomous, better & larger head unit and better looking RIM.

Whats your City & outstation FC? Mileage covered todate?

Is there any other way of using Wase?
*
Highway drive range between 11-14km/h for me

Full city drive can get as low as 6km/l, compared with my other non-turbo 1.6L which hovering around 7-9km/L

I'm using android auto, but mine is with older Geely HU which can sideload app.
