is timing belt expensive to change?

Timing chain more expensive but timing belt prompt to problem and breakdown by wear and tear

Rm600++for likes of saga/persona...Labour + oil change etc prepare rm1k. If It's not about the money but is not practical as will have the dillema scaring the timing belt to snap when car about reaching 80k km..if for a rm80k+ car worth it? Where else timing chain using in axia can lasted over 250k km. That's why the myvi sells >10x more than iriz even more solid at cheaper pricing.
