QUOTE(laytiong @ Jul 13 2022, 03:32 PM) Proton better not force the forever waiting atlas OS. Then can opt to keep old GKUI 19. Now that I have AA and Youtube vanced setup. All is complete. I don't need custom launchers, netflix and those. I'll wait and see, guess I'm the only one waiting here

QUOTE(death_nite @ Aug 3 2022, 01:03 PM) Not sure. Later i send sc. Got check. No debris. But after i open check make sure it is clean then no more leak. But will send to sc to check. Good to hear no more leak... hope is just some debris stucked on the seal. Mind to also share 1. Do you often open the sunroof? 2. Do you often park under the sun? 3. Your car age Well these not necessarily contribute to the wear of the rubber seal if the leak were caused by debris stucked at rubber seal.. also hope nothing get damaged inside.

QUOTE(muncheno @ Aug 19 2022, 11:14 AM) Install openhiddensettings apk that will open android native settings menu. Then goto notification to disable/block notification HUR from keep popup. Thanks! This really works! Almost annoyed to death by the non stop notification. Does this somehow also disabled Whatsapp notification as well?

QUOTE(zu_yong @ Aug 21 2022, 09:03 AM) Just to update, after the heavy rain yesterday, I felt water dripping on me while driving my 8 month old Proton X50. After checking, there was water dripping near my rear view mirror. Sent to Proton and after checking, they suspect it was seeping in from the sunroof area. Could be due to faulty rubber or blocked water drainage. Adui... Thank god my 11 Month still doing fine.. Mind to share how frequent you open sunroof and do you frequently park under the sun? My X50 is less exposed to sunlight, most of the time spent under the shade.

QUOTE(muncheno @ Aug 22 2022, 10:08 AM) You notification for message will still come from your Android Auto. See the bell icon at the left or right depends on your setting. Didn't get to test much as my drive is pretty short recently. But getting rid of that spamming notification does keep things really neat. Means whatsapp notification came from Android Auto not the HUR.. understand this thankss

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Aug 22 2022, 12:10 PM) ya. tolerance on gap causing this. some said SC solve their problem, some said SC cant solve their problem. cant really judge SC can or cant solve. but all i know is, one person leak. posting everywhere. No buy so red eye, inb4 non-owner claiming issue on car owned by others, wonder what they get from that. Hope owner who face roof leak is just due to some minor problem like debris blocking or misaligned rubber that can be fixed easily

QUOTE(darkdevilrey @ Aug 31 2022, 10:17 PM) hows the fuel consumption of 2022 model X50? can get 14km/l in klang valley city drive? Pure City drive like me get me around 8-9km/l only But the same goes with my MT VVT Persona as well which I personally feel the FC is quite close to my previous MT Myvi, I'm getting around 9-10km/l only. Kuchai Lama area with lots of uphill and u know I hardly went beyond 3rd gear speed due to my travel distance is really near around housing area. But do I care about it that much? No, cause I only fuel up once every 2-3 weeks. That translate to <RM200 petrol spent a month. This post has been edited by zero5177: Sep 1 2022, 10:09 AM

QUOTE(darkdevilrey @ Sep 3 2022, 01:30 AM) sounds bad are you heavy foot? my monthly mileage about 2000km so if 8km/l @ rm2.05 ron95 = RM512.50 fuel for me Not heavy foot, it was due to my hilly landscape and short distance and traffic lights. I would consider mine 100% city drive. What car you are driving currently?

QUOTE(limeuu @ Sep 2 2022, 09:06 PM) I am comparing not between driving style, but the same style using 2 different vehicles....it just shows that the highway fuel consumption of the 2 cars are about the same... yes, the tuning of the aruz is such that the engine runs at a high rpm in highway driving...hence i expected the fc to be worse than the x50....but it turns out about the same.... the 2 rivals are about the same weight....1.3 metric tons....although the aruz is slightly longer... Personally I think no power comes free. Although both were 1.5L but the Turbo output of X50 engine is somewhat equivalent to an 2.5L. I won't expect it to outdo any car within its weight and displacement in term of FC Heck even my 1.6L MT Persona VVT outdo X50 in term of FC both highway and city drive.

For those who have renewed Insurance do you follow your existing insurance company?
Last time my SA said if I change insurance company the 7 benefit offered by Proton will be voided, currently I'm with Allianz thinking to switch to Etiqa which suppose to be part of the panel for this Proton Insurance as well. Wondering if this is possible.

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Sep 7 2022, 05:50 AM) Yesterday got one shop posted in fb, ppf for windshield. I ask around for how much for ppf at sunroof, was told rm500, windscreen rm1k. Maybe proceed with PPF at sunroof as windscreen already got insurance. Is it work to prevent crack of this ppf? Sunroof not included in part of windscreen insurance? Personally I think pointless to PPF Sunroof as the impact of stone enough to chip the glass would be the one at front windscreen, you seldom have object crashing from above directly, even if there is such threat, that kind of impact will most likely be enough to shatter your Sunroof even with PPF installed, like example your car turn turtle. Please enlighten me if you view this differently.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(josh5671 @ Sep 7 2022, 02:46 PM) in normal usage, 9km/L plus minum is the AVG FC for x50. because you got press the padel. if you plan to get 12km or 13km. your driving experience surely super boring. FB when you say you can get 12km/l surely people label you protek proton. still, when i post fuelio screenshot to proof FC consider ok-ish. some even claim me adjust the number to make x50 FC look good. lol here with it, with scroll down a bit show 12km/l. recent weeks idling + flooring a lot. Come, let me contribute my data as well, picture speaks louder than word. I'm getting Average 10.30km/L

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Sep 7 2022, 03:34 PM) Ya. Avg 10 quite normal. But some still choose it is fake... Btw what this app? Or website? Ini Fuelly, got app but is web version, not as fancy.. but been using this since >5 years back on all my cars If search my profile you will find X50 have highest FC, but that's also because recently I moved to city with shorter distance and hilly ride, so not apple to apple comparison to other ride. my previous location is mostly highway ride.

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Sep 7 2022, 03:51 PM) normally fc should be how many KM you go divide L fuel you refill = xxkm/L. but in fuelio seen not count like that... will try it soon. did it support key in previous date fc data? There is date option for you to select, but so far I have never tried putting previous date. My guess it shouldn't restrict as this web app is quite basic to begin with. May expect some alignment issue while using the app, it is really the most basic app without much optimization. In term of unit u can change to your preferences like L/100km Gallon/Miles semua ada This post has been edited by zero5177: Sep 7 2022, 04:47 PM

Anyone have this encounter before when switch wiper to auto, the wiper will activate when you encounter bump/uneven road sometimes. Once it activated it will keep on swiping at intermittent cycle for a while like 3-5 swipes? No rain no dust.

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Sep 8 2022, 09:56 AM) i think this happen same like auto headlamp turned on when sun super strong. the sensor wrongly assume there got rain due to some lighting angle or something on the sensor. Yes I encounter this before too on super strong sun headlamp turn on. Sunray i can relate a bit, but uneven road/speed bump turning on wiper a bit hard to relate Guess both of these phenomenon is considered "Normal" right?
