There were forumer added the soundproofing on tweeter area which can reduced the wind noise significantly
[attachmentid=10810120]

Already done that soundproof from day 1 together with tinting.

My problem is above 70km/h, depending on wind angle, sometimes have wind noise.
Not that serious at the moment coz didn't have chance to test it at highway.

guys will cabin noise in the Standard version be more noise than the Flagship???
*
Should be the same in almost every aspect, except tyres noise from standard significantly noisier than flagship tyres.

Lol I’m still waiting for interstate travel restriction to lift up so I can head to KL SC to inspect my car and perform all this fixes.

How's the result? Curious to know.

So far when I drive my usual road for last 2 days, doesn't hear any wind noise when above 70km/h.

Normally happen also depends on wind angle.

I think it is reducing coz I didn't hear it since stick the thick tape there.

I will try to update in another week, now still cant confirm.

It is not easy to do, perhaps u want to try it yourself.
Get those red 3M double-sided tape or thick and soft tape, then put it at corner at the seal@door side or the plastic housing.

If the theory is correct here, that corner seems light only have a soft touch on yhe rubber seal, thus not enough pressure on it and also the seal at that corner also seem to out of shape (not 'D'), maybe that the reason it happened.

Thanks, also do you know why I'm reading conflicting comments, like I see some people saying inside the cabin is like driving in a continental car where it is silent, but than I also see people saying they can here wind noise and also see people installing soundproof?
So which is it, is it silent or noise cabin???

I guess it is subjective. It depends on what car they usually drive before this.

Comparison will be impaired.

Unless everybody use same sound meter tool to measure cabin noise.

You can download it as an app

noise is subjective and different to many

anyone went to their first service and have SC rectify this wind noise issue? saw many in fb comments but when asked hows the result no reply also.

its like if just rubber or seal not fit why still order the same batch, or is it because the complaints report not so much so continue to use the same design

just got x50 last week.

anyone encounter the whistling noise from a/c when on full blast during a hot afternoon?

the nvh of x50 is so much better compare to my accord.
but it is comparable to ma sis c250 sedan..

my biggest challenge right now, where is the fuel cap release lever? or we just need to press on the cap to release it?

Should be similar to X70. Unlock car, press fuel lid to open

For fuel cap, it is more convenience, to press the cap to release like most of European car. Unlike Japanese car, you always have to remember to pull the lever under the seat which could forgotten sometimes.

After all, you will be there to put in the petrol.

is it wind noise or tyre noise? they sound identical, both of my car i always thought wind contribute the noise when drive above 80km, but after i changed both car's tyre, the noise much lower.

goodyear efficientgrip performance..
i use it with my inspira before.. very quite + good grip comparable to michellin primacy line but way cheaper..

i'm using x50 also now, the problem is our tire size (18") is rare and still very hard to find..
hopefully the goodyear will be available when this UC6 already wear out later..

Thanks for the update. Definitely will try this out. The wind noise quite significant at high speed.

i think in terms of creature comfort, uc6 is better than primacy 4.

haven’t tested on heavy rain but primacy is all rounder.
