I saw in FB, even there are many complaining and posted in FB everyday yet there are peoples who still update and complained audio issues or Bluetooth or camera lag
No sure how sure what there are thinking behind.

I'm wondering it was charged rm300/car to hacked the GKUI19 by the guy in FB, not sure downgrade would cost more later if he found it....🙄

I don't think the SC will spent extra time to help you update especially not all the SC are managed by Proton. As I understood all the SC separated in different entities, Proton may have some share in some but mostly also own privately.

Thus I believe this is also the reason why Proton failed to standardize their SC / dealers.

Is the leakage near the welded seam /channel or just an issue the rubber wasn't inserted correctly (refer to the picture for the area I trying to describes )?

Muncheno and xeon1989 are planning to organize a Merdeka session (31-Aug) to help X50 owners to downgrade Atlas OS to GKUI19 at 2 different locations (Penang Island and Melaka). So the message here is just a head up for those can't wait to downgrade.

Possibility only gathers for around 1.5-2 hrs and I foreseen each car will take around 25 mins for downgrading, installing apps and perhaps assist you to setup Android Auto for your phone (for Android only, unless other volunteer help on IOS).

If you are interested to meet up to get me (PENANG) or xeon1989 (Melaka) for support, please let me know.
My estimation that we only able to support up to 5 or 6 cars at given time slot, so it is 1st come 1st serve 😁.

You may ask if payment needed, the answer is no. We are just doing a free services to help and for sharing plus little bit of gathering.

Final venue/location and details will be determine later.

Understood your point, thus my goal wasn't to share on how to downgrade. I only will help if on site.

We have discovered the method about 2 weeks ago.
If possible, will try to keep downgrade method until Atlas OS release next update fix or I can also keep the method until someone else discovered it & put it on FB but I choose to help as part of the X50 community by physical installation on site and this is what I could offer based on current situation unless other greater suggestions available.

I think the one".../DVR/... ACC" - IF17 should not removed, else may reset the settings.

Just a curious question here.
Even if you sideload the Android Auto apk to your phone and run AA developer mode wirh AA server also won't work ?

Then see you can open the AA interface like the picture below.



If cant then you need make a shortcut to it, for this case can try sideload QuickShortCutMaker or any other similar app.

Once you reached there I will show you how to enable AA developer mode.

I know what widget does but not exactly for Cool Widget 4.

In my opinion it won't work if this is a standard widget as the Launcher is sitting on top layer.
Unless it is like the back button app, then I will work with accessibility options enabled in the hidden/open settings for android.

Geely/Coolray are running with Android 4.3 and they can have root access to replace the system/apk.

In our case here is Android 5.1 and nobody have root access yet.

If you wanted to try flash with Geely firmware , I think I could help but for sure you will lost voice assistance (HU Proton) and maybe Internet from HU

Can you try now sideload the MicroG - microGMS that needed for the location service permissions .

You will need the service core and maybe UnifiedNlp for location services.

UnifiedNlp, dont install first and it may not install because of Huawei own location services.

I'm not sure this will work, just like our X50 HU, it will get application running like youtube but can never login with your Google account , else the app will crash .
