halfcut gearbox how much?

There are owners who insist on not changing parts like cabin filter because Honda SC charges > RM100 for it when "we can get Bosch charcoal filter for RM50-plus or thereabouts". I told them not to cry father cry mother if aircon or aircon blower warranty is voided because the system says cabin filter has never been changed.

They told me, as long as they can show receipts for the filter, Honda has no reason to void warranty. I said, good luck and why not do the same for engine oil and CVT fluid using this logic?

the way that i drive is like below

switch to D + brake at when traffic light is close to green > release brake 100% > wait for rpm meter tick (usually within 1sec ..could be worse for pre-facelifted iriz/persona) > press oil



if you
switch to D + brake at when traffic light is close to green > release brake 100% > direct press many oil without waiting the rpm meter "tick" > wheel spin

many people assume its like 4at, thus right after release brake then tekan minyak.. behave like slip lo
or the famous cameron highland video. release brake the car slip backwards. tekan minyak not moving. this is the first batch issue. later added tilt sensor to solve it.

haha..usually SC will mandatory or basic service as per mileage.. then they will have some extra (like aircond service or balancing/alignment).. just skip those extras and do outside..

then they should honor us the warranty according to user manual.

I’m a pretty relaxed type of driver. So on my Nissan when I engage D I wait for half a second for the car to creep a bit then I tekan minyak.

I also have a custom cvt oil cooler installed. So far no whining noise, car is a smooth operator (almost 160k km already). Cvt oil and filter changed every 40k km.

My wife on the other hand, steps on the accelerator of her Honda city (cvt gb) like she stole the car.

Aircon filter changing is stated there as a requirement, based on interval or mileage, whichever comes first.
In TS' case, skipped servicing was the reason warranty was void although one can argue the mileage is <40k. Question is, do you have the time and most importantly the money to argue with them?

in be4 lepas tukar then plotong cakap now all model could change N95 cabin filter tapi i baru tukar normal punya

during warranty period already change 2 biji .....i request them change 1 set they say Honda wont approve coz no rosak wont change

Plug and play saja ...... the bonnet carpet you take up can see the sensor already ...then just cabut wayar push out then plug new in

My mom go ask the Honda SC they say RM30 charges if ask them change lulz .... maybe the RM30 the worker sendiri masuk poket go buy coffee

i know i violate the service term, i am just asking if anyone can advise how much to fix! hello, you guys are the one who think a lot.

Ya, i no money to pay RM20k to fix the gearbox for a 3 years car of 36k mileage, so what! who will? will you?

As of what issue, you think honda will open up the gearbox and tell which part got problem? Nay, they will change you a NEW one. Good for those who follow the terms of service, you are under covered! good luck to you if your car spoil when reach the 5 years warranty term and your car break down the next day and honda tells you, you are OUT OF WARRANTY. Lets see will you be more emotional than i am.

For you to claim i have no money, yes, i should ride bus 11!

Conclusion is, I DONT EXPECT A 3 YEARS HONDA GEARBOX get FAULTY!

Its like you go to a monastery asking for a comb .

I also don’t expect a 3yo Honda get faulty gearbox IF I service on time follow schedule.
