AX1800 is about 5% lower than AX3600 in WiFi, and can only do QoS at about 500mbps, without QoS can fully run my 800/200mbps, so my personal recommendation is to get an AX3600 @RM340 from Taobao, and add AX1800 as a mesh AP if you need any extra coverage, both wireless and LAN can do, @about RM170 each from Taobao too. Thank ts for the awesome guide. I manage to get it up and running without any issues . AX3600 is a beast of a router. Sadly i don't have any wifi 6 devices but I can definitely appreciate the awesome coverage and speed. Definitely better than my previous D-Link 882/Asus AC68u. Note, if you have error code 1521 and have trouble accessing the scp path, try downgrading your firmware to 1.0.17 and try again. That helped me as the router i purchased came with the latest firmware.

 I bought redmi ax5 from taobao and shipped to here last week, costs me 189RMB. I setup it as access point instead while TM cheapskate router as PPPoE dialup. I can say the WiFi performance is way better than TM 1 with this given price. Most important is single dual band SSID.. It will switch you in between 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz channel based on your SNR and supported device. Hassle free. redjurgen liked this post
