which OS they are running on ?? if you do not update, then most likely the WIFI 6 setting will not work for older machines .. u can set the WIFI 5 downward compatibility setting and try or update your client(laptops) with the Windows 10.

all are running with windows 10, latest updates.
But found the solution, did the factory reset on the router and reconfigured the router.
Now it works now. Thanks a lot bro for the advice.

not really much, the lower the wider the spectrum of your wifi only.

i did try myself got noticeable different , 24db 5ghz behind 3 wall i couldnt get good speed. 30dbm still can get 200mbps

If u buy global version of AX3600 then no need vlan switch. (CN version cant ,must use vlan switch)

Sifus, 2 questions, is Ax3600's AIOT works only for XIAOMI smart devices? How about Google home or TianMaoJingLing? Can a global unit Ax3600 work with China unit Ax1800 and Ax5 as mesh? Thanks.

1st question yes,only support mi aiot device. (that aiot antenna only mainly use for auto searching new mi device only,actually not useful.)

Hi sensei, ayam planning to upgrade router. I want to feel the WiFi 6 hype. Been looking at Xiomi 3600 and Xiomi 6000. ayam believe Ax6000 dont have global version yet. May I know, how do i know the Ax3600 global or china version?

Global version need to do the VLan setting or no need? Ayam dont want waste money buy switch rm80+ (as selling by most seller unifi switch / maxis switch). I got a seller said he selling global version, but still need the switch to connect to internet. Ayam use unipi internet

global version can use/set vlan for internet in the router, no need switch, check with seller what is the firmware version

After digging some info, if I understand correctly, since there's only one port for VLAN tagging, particularly "Internet VLAN ID", if I set to 621 for maxis fibre, I will get Internet connection only for my router? Voip and iptv won't work?

yerp pretty much, other than internet u need to enable SSH and configure it manually and assign it to the port

Wanted to get an ax1800 as a mesh for my ax3600. But got 2 types, one is the conventional looking ones and one is the tower. Which 1 to get eh

One question to ask, do the Mi Malaysia local warranty set still need the VLAN switch for Unifi TV?
My house old folks not tech savvy, remember how to use the remote also happy already.
That's alot ppl reason stuck with Unifi anyway
