I heard others said this not sure correct or not:

when using shopee credit card, cannot paired with shopee coin redemption or any free shipping/10% rebate voucher. Is this correct?

I hope it's not true LOL
*
1) coin redemption only works with Mall, preferred sellers, and coin cashback sellers.
2) no matter free shipping or cashback voucher , their T&C will mention eligible payment methods.
3) there are dedicated vouchers for Maybank cards. Eg. Every Tuesday (not sure still have or not), every Payday, every 28th of the month. At your Shopee app homepage, click the coin balance tab, then youll see an icon "Maybank x Shopee". Click it to find out.

Yeah of course, just confuse that what is the difference if I use the physical card or grab pay at petrol station. Does that mean I only get 1 point for every RM3 if I use physical card, while i get 5 points for every RM1 if i use grabpay?

Basically Grab Mastercard physical card does not bring much benefit. You can leave it at home.
People use this card mainly to topup GrabPay wallet for 5X points.

All GrabPay users earn 0.75X point or 1.5X (GrabUnlimited subscriber) for every RM1 spent.

most ppl just topup to grabpay and pay from there.

disadvantage: only spend at places accepting grabpay

advantage: earn more grab points.

the mbb grab card can use anywhere else, for convenience, not exactly to earn massive points.

The most points is earned by topup to grabpay then use the points there.
But in case your internet is unreliable, or the merchant is in a bad reception area, you can use the physical card to pay, but earn less points.

TLDR
Topup to grabpay get x5 points, plus spend with grabpay get 0.75x points (1.5x if have grab unlimited)
Spend directly with card get 1 point per RM 3.

I tried applying for the Grab card today but was rejected the next day. Emailed customer service but was told there was nothing they could do and they couldn't disclose the reason for rejection.

I couldn't be furtherrrr from eligible for the card, and with the "amazing" relationship I have with them. 🙄

I think there some people in the thread that said some time back about M2U automatically rejecting applications due to system error or over-qualification. Some of them tried to send the application form through email or went physical counter and was approved.

Try going to any branch or 1U/TheGarden's outlet to apply. M2U is notorious for rejecting applications.

Manually fill up the application form and email to card centre.
The M2U A.I. is smarter than ChatGPT, will reject you automatically if you are over qualified. Eg if you are T10, you will get approval for Visa Infinite but may fail to get low end CC.

Hi, if the amount going to swipe is above Rm250, i will be able to use the PayWave function and it will prompted me to key in my PIN right? So this transaction is still considered as a PayWave transaction?

paywave is the mode of the payment, pin or without pin validation.

is there a concern related to mbb-shopee/mbb-grab cards?

Yes, as long as you tap the card first.
I use Shopee Visa to wave RM1000 at tire shop on 25-Jan and received 4000 coins in Feb.
