Many years ago, when ShopeePay was not born yet, 1x free shipping per day, then cut to 7 Free Shipping Vouchers per month, and only 4 FSV/month available about 2 years ago.

Then ShopeePay was launched and Shopee started giving more FSV but restricted to ShopeePay only.

Yeap no coins to be rewarded. Basically our main complaint now after 1-2 months using this card.

TBF we only read from MBB’s promo on how good in accumulating coins but when the time comes, Shopee themselves kept discouraging us to use this MBB card.

Hi. I saw that ewallet transaction is not counted as the retail spending of RM300 to get the RM200/300 welcome voucher.

But what about the 5,000 shopee coins?

I am also frequent customer for shopee. For me shopee cc is good when check out amount is higher >1000.

Shopee give extra free shipping vouchers after ShopeePay was launched. The extra vouchers are not for other payment modes. Most likely the extra free shipping vouchers are funded by ShopeePay (another legal entity). ShopeePay didn't reduce the free shipping vouchers allocated for other payment modes.

All the while we could not use credit cards to top up ShopeePay till early this year, only online banking. There are a lot of credit cards you will get reward/rebate to top up ShopeePay (it is an online transaction), why you must use a Maybank CC*?

* Indirect reward/rebate from Maybank is possible at this moment, eg (1) lucky draw from 21/8/20 to 31/10/20 , (2) Ganjaran Gemilang reward via bill payment to Maybank CC.

You will need to redeem them from main page of the app, "RM 15 Free Shipping", in case you haven't.

That is not how co-branded credit card JV works. In most cases, the credit card issuing bank has to pay the partner for their rewards. Read up how American Express lost a major partner because VISA offered better incentives to make a major airline to switch to VISA.
He didn’t try to make your complaint invalid, but rather just pointing out free shipping vouchers for other payment method other than ShopeePay are still there.

Actually this is a valid and constructive feedback for MBB and Shopee.
I believe their cooperation aims to attract more users into MBB AND Shopee.
However, based on current scenario, it looks like Shopee is getting bigger share than MBB.
As I mentioned previously, I foresee Shopee Card user to enjoy same free shipping voucher as Shopeepay, in order to keep the balance between MBB and Shopee.

Regarding free shipping voucher, yes, Shopee has taken away the most important free shipping voucher for this month.
Currently there are 3 types of shipping voucher:
1) All Sellers (usually need to spend RM40)
2) RM15 Free Shipping Seller (limited shops with RM15 Free Shipping)
3) RM9 Free Shipping Seller (new, probably only for this month)

#1 All Sellers Free Shipping voucher is the most important and accepted for all.
Usually I will only use this "All Sellers" shipping voucher.
For July, we get one with Shopeepay and one without (can use CC).
For August, we get TWO with Shopeepay + another one under PENJANA but this is limited to "Shopee Mall"

So you said ShopeePay is redundant service (use credit card to top up ewallet, then ewallet to pay, why not directly use CC to pay) is not right.

My application with maybank is not my first card. My 9th card. Online always failed. Submit to human = approved. Probably dont want me to get any ‘NTB’ promo.

I mean my other 8 cards r from ocbc,uob pbb etc

My personal feedback on grab cc. - Love it . Been my most rewarding CC compare to my 2in 1 maybank CC. Especially i have cancelled the MasterCard.

Now my point is well spent and more faster than accumulating for few years. + AMEX now limited merchant and with CMCO even less usage (when stay at home)

Change a lot of voucher for syabas, digi, maxis reload, steam, razor, grab food, and the best is Lazada voucher. By the way Grab giving 50% point on Lazada voucher. RM20 (last time - 3200 point), now can use 1600 point.

And hurry while stock last up to 300 redemption. (Lol...minus 2 from me)
