I live in Bercham, waited Unifi for 8y, still no coverage even the nearest only 3-4 streets away.
Complaint, always same answer, we have no plan to expend yet.
3-4years ago, when digi infinite released, i signed without 2nd thoughts. Until last year, I tumbang my friend's maxis fibre as maxis prime.
Until last week, i finally saw a lorry with 2 big rolls of yellow stripe wires. But i rather keep using maxis 4G until TNB.

Allo came. TM is also busy coming lol.
Complaint and requested 10years for unifi, getting the same answer everytime, there are no plan to expand your area or simplest answer: no port.
Already told my neighbours, if TM come to ask registration, allo is cheaper and faster.

Based on the dirt stuck on the FDP, at least 2 days since last rainfall. The cable installation must be done by 2 crews based on my observation, 1st team laid the cable and poles while 2nd team do the fusion splicing to hook up the FDP and FDC. The FDP hookup crew must be under the gun to finish the job leaving the cable management to the 1st team.
Another observation is that Allo is first targeting low cost housing areas around Kulim district. The residential areas listed are mostly single storey terrace houses. Smart move on Allo planning, offering low cost internet to B40 consumers which were ignored by TM.
*
I have 2 poles lying on the floor for 3 days too because there are plants planted by my neighbours.
Not sure they will move the pole to another place or remove the plants.

Internet is necessity nowadays. Unifi lite aka streamyx is RM89 now. I don't see any marketing strategy needed to target B40 or M40. Anyone will need the internet, will sign up the RM79 for 50m without second thoughts. Allo just expand the coverage where do not have fibre will win the game. The one who should be targeting B40 is actually TM unifi lite, where the price shall be fair at RM30 @ 10m.

TM's attitude is just doh.gif . Back to 8years ago, when i was still in my ex-company, my boss had authorised me to talk to TM, asking them to pull cable and we will cover all or half of the cost. TM rejected to offer their quotation and said they didn't have such of service/procedure.

Anyway, i already registered my interest to CBB agent. Their feedback is the service will be ready as soon as May, and will insert my registration once it up.

Allo has already pulled cable for my mom's house while the poles are installed 3 weeks ago.
But my house is not pulled the cable yet, while the poles are installed 6 weeks ago.

Where is your location? It would be taking a least 3 to 4 months from pole planting to commissioning a new service access location.

Taman Bercham Aman also the same. Had installed poles at beginning of March but until now haven't pull fiber cable yet.
*
I guess soon.
Allo is very aggressive. I saw it is covering the cables in almost whole bercham soon, except the few taman that currently served by unifi lol.
But not sure will it get affected by MCO.

Btw TM also seem aggressive. I always saw them servicing the underground cable in the bercham main road.

I also saw the box at Tingkat Perpaduan 12, Taman Perpaduan Batu 6 Tambun, in between Bercham and Batu 6 Tambun Ipoh.
Sadly my area at Batu 5 Tambun is recently covered by unifi, but again I felt bersyukur also. At least my house is 100Mbps compare with 4mbps during MCO 1.0.
*
I saw there are some areas will be covered by Allo and TM together. But very low chance as Allo mostly won't go there.
Anyway I don't think you are able to sign Allo temporary as there is 2years contract.

I rather use 4G as main internet if there is no Allo.
I was using digi infinite and switched to maxis prime.
If TM come first and Allo do not come, i will keep using maxis prime.

I saw Allo still doing the cabling today, first day of EMCO.
For the outside work, i believe will still ongoing as telco and its contractors are allowed.

But house installation shall be after EMCO.

I submitted IC and name to agent for processing. Although it is not power on yet, but there is dp box and code painted on the box.
Hopefully still managed to apply for the 50m.

If you want to apply 50M, you have it done by today.
Otherwise you can apply anytime you want later.

Guys, I didn't receive any call/sms from Innomapps/Allo does't mean tomorrow will not come for installation?

My installation date was last Friday, but only came just now.
I asked my agent, a lot of applications last 2 days.
It may delay for few days.
And expect them will come in sudden and without notice.
They suddenly called me and told me they reached.

A bit disappointed they do not give tplink A6.
It is dlink DVG-F2452

in terms of performance is not much different. The only difference is the VoIP support. The Archer C6 has no VoIP port, while the DLINK DVG-F2452 has VoIP port.
After all, the DVG-F2452 model is a WIFI5 router released in 2021.
*
They are no much difference in hardware.
But i prefer tplink because some extra features like openvpn, onemesh.
While dlink has voip and usb 4g modem fail over.

You can try again. If your application is rejected again
you can submit your complaint to the MCMC with some evidence and reasons why you want Public IP (for example CCTV)
*
QUOTE(ideaplus @ Jul 6 2021, 04:20 PM)
Normally just use reason "Problem to access CCTV if out of same network" to get public IP from telco
*
I already told them I want public IP for cctv but they still rejected my application.
Then i asked, as a paying customer, why the other can get but i can't. Then they replied me that under the TNC, only business line can get public IP.
But I read the TNC, no such mentioned there.
So i am asking their clarification, which clause that is?
Still waiting the answer.

try request static IP maybe pay on some fees  , base on their IPs allocation are limited i dont think they able to giving out every single request for public ips
*
I suspect my plan too cheap to get their public IP.
I am using 50m.
I rather to upgrade to 100m instead of static IP if they allow me.
