I saw them piling up poles few streets behind last week?
After 2~3 days my friends living there told me they erected new poles behind houses,
Yesterday TNB 1st team came to survey and do the drilling at 9 am, 2nd team tanam the poles at 2 PM
Nearby taman already got their poles painted with codes and waiting for DP
Oddly the poles near TNB's powerline got an extra ring on top, others are just straight concrete poles with nothing on them.

I am currently waiting for Allo to be on service in my area, may i know if it is possible to directly request a public IP to the technicians during installation later?

If your area under EMCO then confirm cannot install.
No need to waste your time submit the order just to try luck.

I saw Allo still doing the cabling today, first day of EMCO.
For the outside work, i believe will still ongoing as telco and its contractors are allowed.

But house installation shall be after EMCO.

Taman Bercham Aman also the same. Had installed poles at beginning of March but until now haven't pull fiber cable yet.

Update: Taman Bercham Aman is pulling fiber cable now.

So is the FO cable hooked into the FDP already? From personal observations, allo will leave the FDP and the FO cable unconnected for many weeks due to lack of FO technicians to do final hookup.

Sounds like it's progressing nicely, the roadside cabinet already has its trunk FO cable from the central office connection? The cable connection be traced from the overhead FO cable on tnb utility poles. Expect the network to be commissioned within the next 40 to 60 days.
