Yes, you can just call Hotlink helpline to change to prepaid, but you could do it only after six (6) months using Hotlink postpaid.
Why don't you MNP directly to Hotlink prepaid?

lazy to go out to mnp. not sure how trustworthy on shopee dealer as i need to provide ID for them to mnp.

hotlink unlimited 6mbps RM45 and i saw there got RM5 become unlimited hotspot which total RM50 , any1 here use that and is it real that unlimited hotspot and speed will not be reduce?

What do you mean by its "Unlimited Hotspot" and "Speed will not be reduced".

By you paying RM 45 regardless of adding hotspot or not, you are still bound by FUP.
When they define UNLIMITED - It means there is no restrictions to the data usage, even if you break the FUP.
It does not mean you can fly top download speed UNLIMITED all the way. Its still spelt out legally "Unlimited".
I guess Malaysians dont like their speed to be "Limited" even on legit Unlimited data plans.

SO dont get the wrong message that paying extra RM 5 will disable the FUP.
The Hotspot will follow your expiry date of your Data plan. Period.
So yes, it is still "Unlimited" Hotspot , and Unlimited Data.

Day 1 to Day 4 - Okay for me, it shows "Bank - TNG" in the statement, i got the free RM3 over 4 days

Day 5 to Day 6 - Not okay, i clicked the free RM3 banner, but no free RM3 credited, it shows "Bank - NA" in the statement

hello guys, hm need to ask for opinion;
for now im using Hotlink Fast plan which is a kind of outdated plan, but now i see where it got the new prepaid plan with having unlimited data (capped 6mbps) and calls.
right now im using the plan by using internet pass RM35 which get 5GB and free 1gb for weekend. For call sometime i spare about RM10 (rarely call people).

Is it a better choice if i change the plan using the latest one?

Only the unlimited passes are speed-capped while the Hotlink MU with quotas are high speed depending on location signal reception.

It's your decision whether or not you wish to change based on your own usage, and there's no reverting back to previous plan once changed.
I'll post some screenshots regarding the passes for Hotlink Unlimited Prepaid (HUP). Hope it'll be of help.

Hotlink passes/add-ons are the same for different numbers.


Whereas the Hotlink MU might change every a few days and not same for different numbers.

Hi can i ask did HUP still got 50GB FUP on internet pass?

I use the RM35 with 3mbps speed capped and could hardly reach the 50GB FUP.
I’m indeed a light user and don’t care the speed outdoor since I use Unifi fiber at home. So, I can’t say.
Hope someone can answer here because when I check on Maxis TnC, it isn’t clearly stated or maybe I couldn’t find it.
