because Hotlink and Unifi (temporary promo only) is the only one offering unlimited hotspot. But you do know that HUP has a FUP of 50gb , so for those abusers will not be happy.

Other telco either give limited hotspot quota or you have to use "normal" data plan.

I called to hotline.
First level CS assumes I am doing hotspot. And then tell me to "Subscribe to RM 5 unlimited hotspot". I told them I'm not doing tethering or hotspot.
In fact they don't know what is the meaning of port 1080 or 8080. But wanna act smart.
So they forward my case to their 2nd level technical dept.

Its been 3 days already. No news from them. When they intentionally delay or ignore my case , it means they know this port cannot use.

I don't have such issue with Yoodo.

Probably he’ll switch to another telco and keep nagging that telco, .

i subscribe to HUP35. I put the sim in a wifi router by activating the RM5 hotspot unlimited. I also activate the free 1GB daily pass. My question is when i use the data, it will first utilize the 1GB daily quota or it straight utilize the 50GB quota?

Hotlink is more strict (or should I say - Nasty).
Tried once Free 1Gb , if you use anything not listed in the restrictions then it will deduct from there.
TLDR - that doesn't include FB or YT.

Aiya, don't need to worry about the 50gb limit lah.
Even if u triggered it, it will just slow down to 0.5Mbps until end of your cycle.
Just short FYI I was formerly using Yoodo on a WiFi router. Before the Unlimited war came in.
Even my monthly usage comes around 40gb . And that to me is consider a lot.

i renew 3mbps 30 days unlimited net around 3am morning. in app, the pass said it expired at 01-01-2222. they didn't deduct my topup balance. around 9am hotlink limit my speed to non-existence...i think 64kbps or 8KBps

i also claim the 1gb free. does it auto claim or need to claim daily?

edit: i call 123 and the cs said the pass purchase not succeed and no net pass is active. problem is in hotlink app nad usd code clearly show active pass. pics below and i end up buy new hup35 pass
