Hi,

I'd like some advice on how to reshape my body. I just had my first baby 9 months ago. I had a C-section and it was difficult to recover. icon_question.gif

I can finally start exercising again slowly and I would like to have help to get back into shape. bruce.gif

Thank you biggrin.gif

very often a caucasian gains 12, 13kg during pregnancy; lost most postpartum, barring the last 2-3kg; it is quite often that this 2-3 kg stays. reshape your body around the knowledge that the final kgs can be stubborn. start with very light exercise.. remember that your sleep are altered due to the baby etc.

I started my exercises a few days ago. I'm not forcing myself because the scar still stings a bit but the good news is that I lost all the pregnancy weight (out of the 10 I gained. yay).

There are no other women who have gone through this little journey? I would like to get some feedback on the preferred exercises and the duration in months or years (just to project a little bit)

I also just delivered 3 months ago and lost back my pregnancy weight. I mainly do lots of toning especially to reduce diastasis recti. Mainly to heal the baby bump effect .
I also follow the 16/8 fasting to reduce weight . I believe the fasting help me a lot to reduce most of the weight.

Are you breastfeeding? If you are, the fasting could have negative impact on your milk production / nutrition.
If not breastfeeding, then it shouldn't be any issue

I'm breastfeeding, so fasting's not good for me.

Thanks @jtleon but I'm not really a fan of that kind of practice.

hello nines8919,

I've decided to buy some small equipment to exercise at home. And since I didn't know anything about it, I looked at meilleurtest which is a shopping guide site. And then for the exercises, I watched youtube videos.
I only exercise 10 minutes a day when I wake up, but that's enough for now. I feel good
