QUOTE(aMer @ Oct 1 2007, 09:58 PM) you dont need GTK..it's already included in the setup file. You need GTK installed because the setup file has NO GTK. That's why my deluge had problems earlier but now it rocks! However, I see most of the speed is from 1 or 2 peers only. This post has been edited by TC_Boy: Oct 2 2007, 10:21 PM

QUOTE(scripted @ Oct 2 2007, 09:27 PM) even with tor on as the tracker proxy im getting problems getting more than 10 kbps :/ i guess its the end of deluge for my area QUOTE(IcEMoCHa @ Oct 2 2007, 02:25 PM) If it blocks the id. There is an alternative bittorrent client that is KTorrent only for linux though. Linux + Ktorrent FTW. Although I myself are definitely not going to go there anytime soon. I hate to admit, kind of scared to jump to another OS . I got a friend who is a uber geek so maybe I can asked him to tutor me . Anyways, good luck for you case.

QUOTE(ernest82 @ Oct 2 2007, 08:09 AM) Hi All,..The problem with deluge (win) is that after an hour or so, all seeds and peers goes to 0, is there a solution to this problem? Appreciate if someone could help out here~ thanks See my previous post on this thread. There seems to be a bug in deluge-windows. When ur seeds and peers go to 0, go to preferences>network and do a "test active port" to see if it's still open. If it's not, then u have the same problem i faced where the port you choose is open for a while, but after a few minutes, the same test (active port) will yield a closed port error.

You need to add Deluge.exe to the Windows Firewall Exceptions list.

You can dual boot your current OS with it also... No harm trying right?

QUOTE(GameSky @ Oct 2 2007, 06:18 PM) Just one simple question, does it can manual hash check on the torrents? Can. QUOTE deluge seems to have stopped working for me, even a torrent with 2:1 seeder to peer ratio doesnt seem to download :/ has been so for the past 6 hours
edit: it can connect to the tracker, speed is ranging from 0.0 to 5 now Same with me, now using Xunlei again. Will try alpha13 2night whether it help or not.

Try test active port in deluge preferences under network tab, it doesnt seem to auto add in windows firewall which sometimes causes stability issues

Not to see if it's in Windows firewall exceptions/allowed program. For that, go to here. This post has been edited by ahpek26: Oct 3 2007, 07:34 PM
