Everytime I use Deluge, my computer tries to access ip adresses belonging to Speedbone (Anti-p2p) and Euroaccess (Anti-p2p) which my Peer Guardian 2 blocks.
I still can't seem to get any seeds or peers using Deluge. This post has been edited by TC_Boy: Oct 2 2007, 11:32 AM |

QUOTE(aMer @ Oct 1 2007, 09:58 PM) You need GTK installed because the setup file has NO GTK. That's why my deluge had problems earlier but now it rocks! However, I see most of the speed is from 1 or 2 peers only. This post has been edited by TC_Boy: Oct 2 2007, 10:21 PM |

QUOTE(Isky @ Oct 2 2007, 11:30 PM) See my previous post on this thread. There seems to be a bug in deluge-windows. When ur seeds and peers go to 0, go to preferences>network and do a "test active port" to see if it's still open. If it's not, then u have the same problem i faced where the port you choose is open for a while, but after a few minutes, the same test (active port) will yield a closed port error. You need to add Deluge.exe to the Windows Firewall Exceptions list. |

Strange. The completed downloading files doesn't pass hash check without errors when I use Utorrent to recheck the files.

So silly, a few deluge users can bring down the whole TM Net network! Deluge only worked once for me and for other torrents, it won't move.

The Malaysian guys cannot upload to you because we are throttled, remember? You are just lucky/clever to use deluge and not suffer like them.

Deluge only works if there are many seeders otherwise VPN is better.

I think maybe it crashes because you are running many other software at the same time. I had no crashing problems at all on my 433mhz celeron pc. It only runs the bittorrent client, peer guardian 2 and does gateway duties.

(Another winning testimony)
Deluge works! I get max speed all the time (sometimes only). It works with every torrent (err actually only those with 20+ seeders). For private torrents, my ratio is fine (actually it'll get you banned because it doesn't upload!). This post has been edited by TC_Boy: Nov 1 2007, 05:24 PM |

QUOTE(Lemmings @ Nov 1 2007, 06:51 PM) Hi, I'm using utorrent and planning to use deluge due to the slow speed 10kbps First, copy the files to a new folder. My file are mostly 70% done, can I continue downloading the files with deluge? If it's possible, can anyone kindly guide me? In Deluge, add the torrent file then save the files to the folder you just created. If the folder location is correct & all, deluge will start rehashing up to the % you were at in utorrent. |

QUOTE(JinXXX @ Nov 15 2007, 04:53 PM) oi look at the swarm .. what do you expect.. duh... It's 1 KBps because it can't get past the throttle. Deluge works because it somehow finds those few peers and seeds that can get past the throttling.noob you can get good speed if the swarm is good.. |

QUOTE(RangerRed @ Nov 17 2007, 01:47 PM) hahahah 99.99% 3000 over peers n 200 over seeds... 3 days waiting.... i know something fishy is up... maybe the MPAA is waiting to catch me!! lol. 99.99% is already watchable. Maybe u are getting bad data. I believe peers that repeatedly send out bad data are MPAA affiliates. You can see which peer is sending bad data in utorrent but not in Deluge. Maybe you wanna try continuing in utorrent? |

Deluge was working fine till this morning then it couldn't get anything from private trackers even through VPN. Now gone back to utorrent + VPN and it moves.

Beware: The new 'Force Recheck' feature doesn't actually recheck before continuing. If you use that feature to continue whatever you downloaded before on utorrent, you will lose the data.
I lost a 50% torrent (2GB of data) when i used that feature after moving the partially downloaded data from utorrent to deluge. The 50% data was dumped and everything started at 0% again! Stick to the old way that was mentioned a few pages back. This post has been edited by TC_Boy: Dec 3 2007, 07:28 AM |

QUOTE(praveenmarkandu @ Dec 14 2007, 07:27 AM) damn. when something goes wrong with deluge, all of you think TMnet is doing something. its like you subconsciously want them to block deluge. i know you all live in malaysia and the government is trying to screw most of you over, but try to be less paranoid. Screwed again syndrome. |
