QUOTE(PeeEl @ Jul 17 2020, 04:53 PM) Thanks mate. Firstly, Note 20, from reports, is coming with just the vanilla and ultra versions. This would render the top of the range at a price I probably would not be willing to fork out. If they have a Plus iteration, it may make a difference. And at this juncture, like I said, the offer for the S20 Ultra is too good to refuse. Coincidentally, I am also on Maxis. Note 10+ though not ideal insofar as signal/line reception is concerned, it still cuts it. But after reading about S20 series being a little inferior to previous models, I just want to have a peace of mind before I put my foot in the door. Well, I suppose the trade off for the ‘too good to turn away price’ is the perhaps mediocre performance in relation to reception, if at all it actually is. Bro have you tried the s20 ultra in hand though, camera and all. Esp side by side with your note 10+. There were some people using note 10 comparing with the s20 and were not compelled to switch to s20 ultra. Imho if you're not going to get the sd version of s20u, i find it hard to justify the switch even for costs, unless you profit from it.

Sales is slow as.market is not too good now. The phone is also nearing its end of life cycle. Bad reviews and so many issues plaguing the phone is helping either. Note 20 is launching pretty soon and this phone will be a direct competitor. So the time is right to get rid of stocks right now.

And I don’t generally buy to profit from it. I agree about the SD variant. That’s why I posted looking for them, the S series and Note 10+. Finally, even with the low price offer of the Exynos version, I am still thinking very hard...for that very reason. In any event, I will cross the bridge when I get to it ie. selecting which phone or which variant I buy eventually, taking into account all factors. I am also having the OnePlus 8 Pro at the corner of my eye. Decisions, decisions. This post has been edited by PeeEl: Jul 20 2020, 11:11 PM

was waiting note20 launch and now my Note 9 is having green screen issue.
Note 20 Ultra is the spec i want, however with the news of exy chipset, getting an AP SD set will cost a freaking bomb for Ultra, should i just get S20+ SD set? It selling at RM3200 now.

I've been using the s20 ultra since launch and with the note 20 on the horizon, I'd say you might as well wait. Battery life for me has been adequate but not stellar. Around 5 hours SOT on work days where I don't have WiFi. If at home on WiFi 6 to 7 hours SOT is possible. The main downside is the camera which to be honest has improved a lot since launch but it should not have been an issue in the first place on a phone this expensive Performance day to day use is great especially the 120hz screen If you're looking for a change right now, suggest can go for op8 Pro or s20 SD version as many have shown it to be better in terms of performance + battery life. The note 20 line should be good and more optimised as they usually work out all the kinks by then.
