Have you tried changing your Samsung Pay location?

Do you have any instructions to do that?

I'm afraid the only way to do it would be to reflash your firmware to the version the country you are in ie Malaysia. That would be the safest workaround for Samsung Pay to work. But then again, is there a Malaysian version of Samsung Experience for the SD version since its not officially available here in this region.

It's the successor for the S10 Lite, bro. They just found a more fanciful name for it laugh.gif

The S10 Lite RRP was 2,699 then it went as low as RM21** in less than 3 months laugh.gif

This post is to solicit help from those who own an Ultra, Exynos version.

I actually want the Snapdragon iteration but now have an offer for a local set which is too good to turn down. I know the shortcomings of the Exynos set. Can live with the comparatively not so good battery life since it is 5000 mAh, so still alright. The other shortfalls I can also deal with. The only thing which is important to me is the line/data/WiFi reception, the signal. How is it? Bearable or not too good? I have the Note 10+ but since this Ultra seems to have more problems, hence my solicitation for inputs.

Would appreciate any advice before I put my money down for the set. TQ all.

It was priced wrongly. If they launched it at RM1,999 it would have sold like hot cakes. I can easily recommend it over the Pogo laugh.gif

Data and line connection is really subjective and hard to comment as its really dependent on where you're living also sweat.gif for me in melaka its pretty good on Maxis, I get 4g in most places and signal even in certain parts of my workplace where my colleagues don't. But I'm not sure if that's a plus point for the phone or for maxis.
WiFi is works fine for me. Not much to complain. IMO since you on note 10+ already why not wait note 20 biggrin.gif next month only. And pretty sure a lot of the kinks with the s20u camera etc should be worked out by then.

Thanks mate.

Firstly, Note 20, from reports, is coming with just the vanilla and ultra versions. This would render the top of the range at a price I probably would not be willing to fork out. If they have a Plus iteration, it may make a difference. And at this juncture, like I said, the offer for the S20 Ultra is too good to refuse.

Coincidentally, I am also on Maxis. Note 10+ though not ideal insofar as signal/line reception is concerned, it still cuts it. But after reading about S20 series being a little inferior to previous models, I just want to have a peace of mind before I put my foot in the door.

Well, I suppose the trade off for the ‘too good to turn away price’ is the perhaps mediocre performance in relation to reception, if at all it actually is.

True enough. Anyway, Samsung's UI is also far more polished than MIUI so that is also another plus point other than just the branding.

Actually it's better in everything hardware, software, branding with the exception of the proc. laugh.gif
