Charging port kaput again(repaired Nov last year under warranty). No more warranty. Send to service centre quoted rm1.9k to change the motherboard.

Wow. Charging port kaput also need to change mobo. Maybe try 3rd party repair shop since already no warranty. May be need to only change charging board or maybe port. 1 .9k better buy brand new phone.

What are the symptoms the charging port went kaput? The phone charges intermittently, no fast charging or it won't charge at all? Does the port feel loose when attached to any usb-c?

I noticed on last day it was working.. it was charging really slow or not moving when plugged in. Thought either need to reboot the device or my cable rosak already. Then I tried different charger/cable, but same thing, and within few mins it won't charge anymore.

Yeah gonna get back the phone and try and send outside see how much they gonna charge.

It could be the issue of the cable inside the phone, there are videos on youtube about how to DIY to replace.

He must be scamming you...crazy change mobo also 1.9k. Even brand new Poco F3 cheaper than that price. Try search F2 mobo spare part how much online 1st before go other shop also.

Get a waterproof phone, maybe xiaomi not suitable for you. New f2pro last time rm1.6 k only, repair rm1.9k ridiculous cost.
