it used to be free.

Yeah, I think WISE is getting more expensive nowadays. Trying to charge us for everything.

I use Wise to transfer my pension and rental income from Aust every month. The fees is still pretty much the same throughout this year.

Actually they already started charging quite a while ago.

Last year in Jan when i started using Wise to transfer funds, i tested sending a small amount back to my Australian account (original funds were deposited from my Aussie acct in Aussie dollars) and they already charged a fee then so it not something new.

i can confirm for now, transfering SGD to SG Bank Account got no charge. I did it yesterday.

The reason why I am shocked because "IT DOEST MAKE SENSE".

SGD to SG Bank = NO CHARGE
MYR to MY Bank = FEE

We all know Instant Transfer and DuitNow Transfer between Local Malaysian Banks are free. Why WISE is charging us a fee?

john123x we don't know the answer and I know of the loophole to transfer out FOC anyway (ewallet reload)

Why not ask Wise? Request for them to phone call you in Wise app, then share their reply here

Funny there are people thinking there are free lunches in this world.

Most of the "free" stuff are initial promotion or campaign etc.

Wise has always had a range of non-traditional fees, and throughout this post, I've repeatedly mentioned how strange it is that many believe Wise has no "hidden fees" or the lowest rates.

Put it this way la, no one said they didnt have hidden fees or fees at all. They had and it was somewhat lower then the rest and livable. Now need to find further options, tiresome but thats the reality.

I wonder if I have some physical cash like SGD, HKD can I transfer into my wise account through certain bank at Malaysia? And it remain as SGd and HKD inside wise. I don’t want to bring to money changer.
Then when I visit those country again I use wise to withdraw or pay at that country money.
