Last time when i get it was from sg region. You will probably lose current map after updating because it will draw new map with partitions.

Anyone know anyone selling this type of full coverage mop cloth? So far only found this seller selling it. A little thinner than original mop but fit perfectly and clean better from my experience. Haven't try the new 5 legs rubber type side brush.

Jz get the mi 1c, after a few days pretty satisfied with it..
1. Captured quite a bit of dust with silent mode even after I vacuum with my Dyson, I must have missed a few spots..
2. Mopping function is a bit troublesome so I guess I will probably use it for few times only.
3. This is meant to reduce house dust, not to replace weekly chore I think.
4. The dust bin is not designed properly I think, maybe due to lack of space. Dust will always end up on the filter itself, so it will get clogged up after 2 or 3 cleaning cycles. A Dyson filter will hardly have any dust at all. The cyclone will separate all the dust before it reaches the first cloth filter.
5. Not sure how good is mopping, you know it's dragging the cloth, but it don't produce the squeaky clean effect compare to normal mopping.

As a conclusion, I think it's okay to purchase if you have rm700+ to play around and not mind too much.. my biggest concern is how long will it last, the local warranty is almost useless as it's repaired by local sellers, no official warranty by Mi.

Firmware 3.5.8_1096? With experimental feature on or off? Region set to? I used to have smart map before this after, then after update just now i lost my map and doing cleanup doesn't seem to track my robot or remap.

I’m having same issue, all my map gone and having issue to connect to Wi-Fi as well. I created a new Wi-Fi SSID and it works but not the map.

No worries. Install mihome on another phone, select Malaysia region, reset robot, connect robot to wifi. Start cleanup and you should be able to create a new smart map.

OR

(haven't try but may work) use same phone, clear mihome cache, uninstall mihome, reinstall mihome, create new account, Malaysia region, reset robot, connect robot.

Does anyone know the difference between these two model numbers?

STYTJ01ZHM
SKV4093GL

I just wanna confirm which one can claim warranty at Mi service centre, and can use region set to Malaysia. Not China Mainland. All my Xiaomi products are global products.

For the Robot Vacuum 1C Chinese version, can the region be set to Malaysia and the robot function like normal? I’m under the impression that the region has to be set to China Mainland.

Mine STYTJ01ZHM can connect to Malaysia server, manual come in many languages. Some say this is Chinese version but seller root it into global version selling for better price.

Different seller selling different product, better confirm with your seller before buying. Mine can only claim warranty with my seller, can't go mi service centre.

Has anyone had any experience with the vacuum barrier tape? I’ve just ordered the Mi Vacuum 1C, and I’d like to prevent it from falling down the stairs. How do people avoid that from happening? Would there be an alternative to the Mi Vacuum Barrier tape, or perhaps a cheaper version which works just as well? Thanks!

No worry ya, even the cheapest robot RM 50 one doesn't fall from stairs, unless the sensor blocked/malfunction. For mijia 1c you can easily set virtual wall/no go zone using mihome app, so there is no need for barrier tape at all (it is only for old robot when app isn't advanced yet). Follow your robot for first few time to make sure it doesn't fall/stuck, to be safe.

Hi guys,

I received my Mija 1C few days ago and so far impressed with the value of the money spent.

My question is can we have 2 maps for the same unit, so I can alternate between my ground and 1st floor every other day?

Can't, multiple map saving only available for higher end model like xiaomi mop pro or above.

Initial you may want to build some barrier if up stairs... incase vacuum decided to suicide... also buy magnetic tape (Virtual wall tape)

once the vacuum complete mapping the area + rooms the vacuum will create the area map and rooms, then you can draw virtual wall or no go zone (eg near stairs)

you can assign vacuum to certain room or vacuum all

Vacuum all the vacuum will sweep the main hall first before going to individual room
