Apple support followed up with Switch and told me they already instructed Switch to replace another unit for me. Now I’m waiting for Switch to contact me on the next step. So I asked Apple if there are any similar incidents and they say they treat it on a case by case basis. If my phone were a few months old then they wouldn’t replace it (which I would totally understand as well). But since it’s only a day, they decided to replace it. I believe speaking to the right person will help. The senior specialist was very helpful I’d say. Kudos to her. Now I hope Switch will make this replacement experience smooth. QUOTE(attw @ Jun 11 2020, 08:24 PM) If they received specific instructions from Apple, then they will honour the claim. I probably think a replacement will be faster than a refund, as that could take some time to process.

Hope others got treated well by Apple CS too.

Yeah, Apple's customer service is pretty reasonable, which is why it sucks that we still don't have an office Apple store here in Malaysia and only have resellers.

Does anyone feel that the SE 2020 is easily warm even on non-taxing tasks like making a short call (less than 5 minutes)? Not to say really warm to the point of uncomfortable but can feel it warming up. 4G VoLTE was on, if that matters.
Sometimes surfing the internet can feel too. But watching youtube will not.
By the way, still using the phone naked. Perhaps easier to feel the heat of the A13 inside?

Any SE user here who happens to be Boost e-wallet user too? Do you have problem using/ enabling Touch ID into the app so that it can be used as authentication method when authorising payment using the "They Scan Me" way? After entering my boost PIN to confirm adding Touch ID, nothing happens. So I have to type PIN everytime to authorize payment. Stuck here (with 6 digit PIN already entered): - This post has been edited by svchia78: Jun 16 2020, 10:57 AM

Dropped my iPhone SE to the service centre as per their appointment yesterday. It will take 7-10 working days for them to replace. They only took the phone (not the box, etc.). Received a SMS this morning stating that they shipped the phone to Apple Repair Center for further checking. Delivery subject to custom clearance. Ok, looks like the replacement process is not as straightforward as it could be if we had an official Apple Store here. Anyways, hope you'll get the replacement one soon.
