These kinda scratch usually they dont cover. Unless u can prove that it was like that out of the box

Yeah too bad I only realised 20 hours later. It's just funny how the paint is chipping off. They are literally spots and not like scratch marks. So yea Apple Careline was willing to take the report in and to investigate with their hardware engineers. It just doesn't make sense that I shouldn't be using a case let along a case sold by an official reseller who probably sold the case to many customers as well but doesn't have the paint spots chipping on the aerospace grade aluminium. So now it feels like i'm using a fragile phone that will get its paint chipped off anytime.

Maybe my bad luck or something especially when i remembered iPhone 7 had similar issues with certain batch. But oh well waiting for their reply/call. They themselves are suprised it happened less than 24 hours. The engineer said if it were months then probably they won't be investigating further (Which I totally understand and accept).

Should have bought from Lazada Apple Store since they have a 15 day return policy.

Hi. Can anyone recommend me a good "wallet case" for the iPhone SE 2020? Preferably leather ones. This is my first iDevice (actually it's my wife's).

Any good recommendations would be much appreciated.

I'm not too keen on the ones on lazada / shopee (maybe there are good ones, but most of of the time, its the pictures that looks good, not the real product that looks and feel good).

Same here. At most case make re-send new improved version case.

Same happened to my last iPhone 7 plus matte black. I don't really mind the issue so just stick inside case and never look back.

As far as I know, they only accept returns of the phone in unopened retail packaging.

Just another update,

After Apple's investigation they offered a refund or replacement. Apple said if it were bought from them they can honor the refund if it's within 14 days from purchase date.

But in my case I bought it from Switch Malaysia they asked me to ask them about their refund/replacement policy (Which I did informed them with eh case number and is waiting for their superior's feedback).

Hopefully they will honor the claim as per Apple's advice.

I never try this before but I do know that there are a way (possibly) to force them for refund via KPDNHEP within 7 days.

Of course it could turn things into ugly if you insist for it as we all know bolehland since many year we have shity customer policy because of legit customer get bully and greedy customer use loophole to abuse the return policy.

They are asking me to ask Switch for the refund/replacement. Still waiting for Switch to reply with a solution.

If they received specific instructions from Apple, then they will honour the claim. I probably think a replacement will be faster than a refund, as that could take some time to process.

Hi, just manage to get one today. Did you guys apply glass screen protector on iPhone SE? Mine got apply but looks ugly as the ppl told me due to screen is in curve shape
