I'm using RX 5700 XT, their 2020 driver got a lot serious issues, stuck using 2019 ver now. amd not able to release a stable release, macam releasing beta driver as stable.

3 months ago upgraded my i3-8100 to ryzen 5 3600, last week i upgraded it to ryzen 9 3950x.

amd chipset driver also got issue, this driver installer rely on Microsoft Visual C++ Redist, but the installer itself doesn't come with this, so if your clean installed windows, 1st thing you gonna do is install the c++ redis baru can install amd chipset driver.... many ppl in forum facing this issue not even know why the chipset software give error

Always install C++ and .Net packs for fresh Windows installs. I never get any issues.

Yes, AMD CPU does act weird.

Let me give you an example.
AMD 6/12 cores/threads, AMD has problem handling 4 Android emulators with 2 cores assigned to each emulator. The emulators crash like no tomorrow once I open more than 3 emulators concurrently.
Intel 6/12 cores/threads, Intel has NO problem handling 6 Android emulators concurrently with 2 cores assigned to each emulator. No crash whatsoever.

Well, AMD CPU is cheap anyways. So, nothing to complain. It's meant to be cheap.

Compatibility is not on AMD motherboard, compatibility per se. 
Even until Year 2020, AMD still has weird issues on the motherboard.

I had changed 3x B450 motherboards for my staff due to weird issues on the motherboard. Weird boot up and cold boot (could be the RAM compatibility issue)
I changed from Gigabyte to MSI and eventually Asrock B450 Steel Legend.

I have NEVER encountered such issue on Intel chipset motherboard in the last 30 years (I upgrade every 1-2 generation of Intel processor).

if you observe those who selling intel CPU, they sell it at almost RRP price, for example, an 8700k, some of them still sell at 1.2 to 1.4k .... where i can top up and get a new 1...

nobody wants a i5 6500 now, no matter how cheap u sell, I see 3 months in LYN sales...still no takers. 

FYI, R3 2200G is about 10% faster than i5 6500, u see the point. 

Lyn got cheap sale? More often than not, buying in lyn just like buying new - 15% only. Why waste time?

No ppl sell cheap la... where got cheap? Only 2 cores Intel ppl throw. 4 cores still sell sky high price. If really cheap I would buy but no. All dreaming to change to Ryzen without much losses.

This cpu is good. Basically it will tapau all of intel older 4 core cpu offerings while having the extra 2 cores and double the threads.

So yeah very good choice for most pc builders.

That's why I'm still using 3rd gen Core i5. Buy cpu RM120 better than being ripped by these sellers. Why would you buy 4 cores i5 around 500-600 when you can buy 6 cores Ryzen? Only negative about Ryzen is expensive board. I don't care last time you buy for a thousand or what, need to compare with current pricing and technology. Let them rot with their cpu.
