Got my R6 d... Overall satisfied... But I'm not the fan of the side power button + finger print sensor... Always got vibration n screen wake when my palm or other fingers touches it... Kinda annoying 🤦

Ya, it's pretty sensitive, but on the plus side, it is fast and accurate smile.gif

Actualy smart phone with 4gb of ram is enough for daily use unless u are u super multi-tasking user.......i own 4gb, 6gb and 8gb ram phones......all same same........no lag or what so ever. It depends on your budget. For high ram smart phone is like future proof phone.
I remember i use A9pro with 6gb of ram....i open 11 games [10 games running in the background]....still got 1.8gb free ram left.....no lag.
*
Correct, more RAM isn't always a good thing. Unless you do loads of multitasking and open lots of apps, more RAM could just mean higher battery consumption. As long as the phone is smooth, then less is more biggrin.gif

Actualy smart phone with 4gb of ram is enough for daily use unless u are a super multi-tasking user a gaming user with max quality graphic.......i own 4gb, 6gb and 8gb ram phones......all same same........no lag or whatsoever. It depends on your budget. For higher ram smart phone is like future proof phone.
I remember i use A9pro with 6gb of ram....i open 11 games [10 games running in the background]....still got 1.8gb free ram left.....no lag.
That why i got confident to buy this Realme 6 4/128.............most important for user nowaday is storage.....the bigger the better not the ram [but minimun 4gb ram at least].

I recomend a few of my friends who want to buy a cheap budget phone.....realme 5i and realme 5s............they use for it working [grab apps, fb, some working apps, utube, etc].....all of them no complain bout this 4gb ram smart phone.

Like my Realme XT and A70...comes with 8gb ram......everytime i checked....still got 4-5gb free ram.......some people says unuse ram is waste ram tongue.gif

I m not trying to say or asking to buy 4gb ram.....i just share my experience using smart phone.....of course higher ram better [if got budget] for future proof.

Actualy a lot of people misunderstand with higher ram and the will works faster......nope.....i use Galaxy Note 3 and 4 before till i sold it last 2 months......3gb ram phone.....also no lag or whatsoever......point is the ram speed. Higher ram speed will make the phone run faster and smoother not the size of the ram.....correct me if i m wrong.

I was actually looking for replacement for my old android phone (came with snapdragon 625), was considering the realme 6 (Helio G90T), but seems the cpu not much difference compared to snapdragon 625, its not really a good upgrade, am going to still look around for something else.

Funny thing i paid the same price for that phone in 2017 and now is 2020, you'd think for the same price you would get much better processor.

What do you mean the CPU isn't much different from Snapdragon 625? It's completely at least few tier difference in terms of CPU performance.

Hahaha, no la, they typically use RM9,999 for all new products before the sale date. Same thing happened to the new iPad Pro before it was listed officially.

Okay try think of it this way....when the sd625 was mainstream what was the flagship soc of that generation?...its was sd821 right, the chip that power the highly praise Oneplus3T MI5s LG G6 S7E in usa and such..the G90T i think should be faster than SD821....so you pay the same money today you got a flagship performance upgrade of that gen, i say its fair...SD625 for me feel sluggish....nah even SD636 with kryo core still feel sluggish....not until sd660 u start to feel it smoothing up abit...on the other hand, G90t i think its quite a leap from SD625, the 625 was energy efficient chip, it does not even have a performance core on it, if im still remember.... so G90T is still not today flagship ofcuz...but its a bloody good chip for the price...

White also sold out now, haha. I don't mind white phones too, as long as got a nice cover otherwise it'll get dirty fast. Also, if the back was glass, white will hide fingerprint marks better.

Actually you are right, helio g90t is much better. When I made that statement I first looked here:

https://versus.com/en/mediatek-helio-g90t-v...-snapdragon-625

So it looked almost the same, but after looking at separate Geekbench scores, the helio g90t is 3x faster than snapdragon 625.

Just have to be on the lookout for offers, bro. I believe they will have some offers by mid May when Xiaomi launches the Redmi Note 9 and 9 Pro here officially. Competition is good! smile.gif

Yes, G90T is far more faster then snappy 625....i tested both phones on loading heavy apps & games.......snappy 625 really slower. But snappy 625 run smooth after entering the apps and games.
