Same goes with many oppo and vivo phones.
I don't understand why they can't give 4G band 7 to their phones like Xiaomi and Redmi did since U Mobile also one of the biggest telcos in Malaysia.

U Mobile users cannot use both of these phones because they don't have 4G band 7.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Apr 5 2020, 11:17 AM) Huh then why even bother selling in Malaysia then... Because can still use for Maxis, DiGi and Celcom. Only U Mobile uses Band 7 LTE which is not supported. So I guess they still cover most of the market as U Mobile subscribers are the fewest amongst the four telcos.btw it's official Malaysia units right? Not import set? Yes, official Malaysia sets. |

Plus, gsmarena doesn't always show the right spec. If you go to Aliexpress, there's always two different model for all Realme phones; China version and global version which support band 7. Ours are global version obviously.Yes, official Malaysia sets. |

Ya, I got my info from GSMArena so I could be wrong. Anyways, if anyone already has a Realme 6 perhaps can confirm if it works with U Mobile LTE |

From the information, realme C3 global version really has 4G band 7. If the information are accurate, realme 6, realme 6 Pro, realme 5 and realme 5 Pro do not have 4G band 7. The information on their official website may not accurate too. |

Are there any ways to check the phone whether it has 4G band 7 or not before buying it?

The Band 7 issue is quite some time already talked about
yes, some phone manufacturers skip Band7 because in china they mostly uses Band40 and Band41 and recently adding into Band 3 Their Telco doeant use Band7 so it is only logical to just focus on Band40/41 but U-Mobile also have gps problem with xiaomi phones in the past hopefully u-mobile will do something about this because they are the only one using Band 7.. |

Xiaomi, Redmi, HUAWEI and HONOR still have 4G band 7 supported for Malaysia market. Yes, most of the telcos in China are using 4G TDD LTE, band 38, 40 and 41 instead of 4G FDD LTE, band 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 and 28, like Malaysia. In Malaysia, only TM Unifi has 4G TDD LTE and 4G FDD LTE license. |

Guys. Any occasional stuttering issues with this Realme 6 (G90T) as experienced by the Redmi Note 8 Pro (gsmarena long term review)? Wonder if its because of the G90T SoC or something else. Thanks

Bought the Realme 6 during the Lazada Flash Sale. Can confirm that Malaysian version has Band 7. So all telco is supported with Realme 6. Owning the phone for 10 days, my thoughts are The Best: The Photography After getting the latest update, the photography is the best in class. The night mode even rivals that of the Mi 9T, even the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and easily beats the Redmi Note 9S out of the water. As for daylight shots, it is not overly exposed and highly saturated(Finally, realme listens to its customers). But if you still want those highly saturated shots for Instagram, you can turn on Chroma Boost to spice up the photo. TLDR: Best photos for under RM1000 Pros: Feels light in hand despite the battery The charging surprised me(100% in an hour) Got me through a day with 25%-35% at the end of the day 90Hz display Playing Brawl Stars and Minecraft PE is a blast on this phone Cons: The volume buttons is on the left No NFC, IR blaster Shooting videos are unstable compared to the Redmi Note 9S and Galaxy M31. Verdict: If you want a gaming and camera phone(for photos only) for under RM1000, this is the phone for you. |
