Yes to my original question on whether or not this Realme 6 experiencing the same occasional stutter as the RN8Pro. I'm asking this because both of them are running on the same SoC.

I can't answer your question as I don't own the phone.

Maybe ASoulNamedLeo can share does this happen as he owns a unit for about 2 weeks already.

Lazada hasn't budge on my 4/4 order yet. Status still remains as processing. If it doesn't get delivered this week or before the MCO is lifted, I will cancel the order biggrin.gif

Based on reviews by gsmarena, the non pro version seems to trump the pro version when it comes to battery life. This is something i do not expect considering 12nm vs 8nm manufacturing process.

Damn i should have gone for Realme 6 instead of RN9S as the main reason for the decision was the battery capacity.

Ya bro, the reason I bought the Realme 6 was to try : -

1. The Mediatek Processor (I've never owned a phone with Mediatek before)
2. Realme UI (My last Realme 5 was running ColorOS)
3. The 90hz Display

Otherwise, I'd probably try the RN9S for RM 699 smile.gif

Yup. Defeats the purpose of having a new toy to play with during the MCO period. laugh.gif

Realme 6 trumps N9s in almost every department.

Sadly even camera xiaomi couldn't fight.

i respect your opinion
but foe me i think the note9s wins in screen size (6.67" vs 6.5"), processor (8nm vs 12nm), infrared port (very useful for me), battery capacity (5020 vs 4300), and the selfie camera placement
all but the last are facts from sheets, and the last is my own opinion tongue.gif

but the 90hz refresh rate is good, i guess
waiting for games developers to starts enabling 90/120hz in their games, then mesti lagi syiokk

I think the 0.17" difference wouldn't matter (that's not what she said tongue.gif ), and yea most reviews say that on paper the Snapdragon will win in terms of productivity but gaming will lose outright.

IR Port - this is user dependent, nice to have, not essential

Battery capacity yes, but charging much 2x slower - so, give and take depends on user again.

I've never actually used a 60/90/120/144hz screen so ... haha biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

using the redmi k30 with 120hz screen, for me on my eyes it is slightly faster
but if u go do it side by side baru boleh nampak beza
using it by itself saja u takkan perasan punya 90hz tu smooth sgt hehe

but it is good to see realme giving a good fight as alternative.. people have options now

Actually I'd rather pick a bigger battery and a SD chip but I am currently already using a Redmi Note 7 for work, so doesn't make sense to carry two Xiaomi phones around - Besides, I'm not that big of a Mi fan, hahaha...

Actually agree.

I would lean towards a SD chip over MediaTek, always.

But the other hardware wins for the Realme 6 makes it hard for the N9S to make a strong case for itself.

cannot say this, macam syok sendiri.
these company sells and get profits, for now i think these Note9s sales is a winning strategy~
what matters is sales, more people buying, that makes the case thumbsup.gif

I heard that some courier company would not perform delivery in red zone. Not sure if it's true though.

GSMArena has just dropped their review of the Realme 6 Pro here.

An excerpt from the Performance test section: -

"The Realme 6 Pro doesn't demonstrate any significant advantage over the Realme 6 in terms of performance. Having said that, the Pro posted consistent results in benchmarks run after run and barely warmed up in the process."

So it's confirmed that the SD will run cooler than the Mediatek.

1. Does it have stutter problems? Yes.
2. How frequent are the stutters? I would say 3 times a week. But the stutter do sour the 90Hz experience a bit. Because when I'm blazing through my feed, the stutter feels like I'm going back to 60Hz.
3. Does it overheat? Surprisingly the processor doesn't overheat during gaming, it overheats when I video call for 2 hours with my colleague or taking slo-mo videos and full 64MP photos with the camera.

Yup, but for now MediaTek has upped their game with their G series processors. Can't say the same for Samsung's Exynos.
