realme is so clever, put the day on Friday but not Saturday or Sunday.

is the phone decent enough for elderly...thinking to buy for my mom in her early 50...or any other suggestion?

How is battery life?

Well so far seems good but today is my first day. All I can say is charging is super fast, like less than an hour from 10% to 100%, and it auto stops charging at 100%.

Yeah, the X3 Superzoom at RM1777 during 7.7 sale was definitely value for money. Only reason why I didn’t get that was because I already had a Realme 6 and didn’t think the experience would be too dissimilar except maybe for the camera since I’m not a gamer and wouldn’t appreciate the 855+ chipset over the already very good GT90. I think the only losing point would be the LCD screen against an AMOLED one. I compared my Realme 6 against my previous Poco F2 Pro screens and I definitely prefer the 60hz AMOLED to the 90hz LCD. Anyways, congrats on your purchase, I’m sure it’s a great phone!

Yeah, I think the 12/256 one went for RM19xx or something. Definitely good buy!

I just bought IQOO Neo3. Snapdragon 865 6/128 UFS3.1 for RM1750. Not that I disliked Realme but there are value buy everywhere.

How about the OS? Is it same with vivo one?

Personally I have been using Samsung exclusively for Android (except for Mi3 for a year). Found that most chinese phones (phones that I helped workers buy) are more or less same. They tried to be too flexible and can become an adventure in the settings menu.

Maybe they copy each other.

But I have tried vivo Fun Touch OS and I found that it was not so smooth when I swiped up and down. It has a bit lag.

normally your mom usage is like what?
I mean what she does always with phone? whatsapps? youtube? etc.

Walao!!! This realme 6 8gb battery life really impressive for a 4300mah battery. This phone i use only for gaming with 90hz.

Yup. The battery is pretty damn good. Improved so much since the first day i bought the phone.

3 days with 20% battery life left?? Wow!

Compare with 4gb version.....8gb version battery life slightly better ler. Both phones are running with the same rom version. Both of this phone usage same for me....gaming only, same setting.....some more playing the same game......CODM & Gear.Club.

For Realme 6 pro....same usage & same setting....it olso can use for 3+ days but SOT bout 5 hours only.
