Hi all, I need help.. hopefully I'm on the right forum.

So my brother was being approached by Pinggir Armada Sdn Bhd, I think it’s some 3rd party telco thing. He agreed to have 2 year contract with them (I know right wtf) because he thought maybe really can lower his bill and increase data. He's just a student...haih. So he paid some rm100 deposit and was being asked to send 3x Maxis bills as 'reference'.

Manatau his bill came - more expensive than what he used to pay to Maxis lol They just send him SMS to pay but never send itemized bill statement to refer to. Just a damn sms asking him to pay.. e.g. PAY RM150.00 to Pinggir PBB account. Whattttttt? So we whatsapp Pinggir Armada la.. walao, the staffs are not trained professionally. It is a headache la.. until now tiada bill. promise will send but never send. eh, i understand during this corona season, messages can be late and THAT'S OK but they kept giving non-helpful shit.

So I dug up their info hopefully I can help to settle on behalf of him but damn, it’s so dodgy. Pinggir Armada is a subsidiary of Avista. And Avista website is very weird.. They dun tell u what exactly they do but they put up nice generic words. Yadda yadda top telco service provider.

I dunno man, he kena pay penalty if he wants to terminate. damn soi for him =\

I want to know if anyone here has the same experience? Mind to share? I also dunno how to help clean up his mess.

Sounds like a scam..how much the penalty for termination? Just for comparison..me on Maxis postpaid need to pay rm500 to breach contract

1. NO - depo, registration fee, access fee, service charge, installation cost, hidden cost, technical support

Downside:
1. They said that they have partnership with TM but TM does not recognize their package or their company name and currently is investigating about this matter.
2. If service down, need to contact them first to repair. Wait them settle before TM.

Is it worth a try? Is this somehow a trap?
We already have a saver plan with TM.
We use handphone to call handphone numbers.
Customers are normally locals and use handphones.
International calls are seasonal.
We use Skype to contact outstation which is free. (outstation normally our own branches, so family call rate if use)

Anyone tried and did you really save on the bill? Customer service good?

Thanks for replying.. the penalty fees are like, e.g., RM80 (monthly) x 24 months. haih.. I oso suspect scam..

Haahhh thought I was the only one kena...

Subscribe to their Plan in Feb 2019.... being told it will be 2 years contract with UNLIMITED DATA... during MCO got blocked due to EXCEED QUOTA and takes me 1 month without service and yet still have to pay FULL amount... After complaining to MCMC finally got WAIVED for the non-service month.

Last week kena again EXCEED QUOTA... try to get info because already fed up and wanted to terminate...

The come out with a figure I'll have to pay RM5,713.00 (for the remaining contract until March 2023)..... wtf it is 3+1 contract instead of 2 years....

Customer Service also very unfriendly... cannot talk... E-MAIL only...

Looks like I'll have to stay until March 2023

You guys out there mau ingat ini company PINGGIR ARMADA... don't get caught

I purposely created this account just to share this. PLEASE AVOID PINGGIR ARMADA / AVISTA AT ALL COSTS. PLEASE IN THE NAME OF MALAYSIA.

Sigh, I'm also one of the victims too. Yea, I probably should not precreate. This is what I realized:

No transparency, apparently this Pinggir Armada increases your itemized billing. I used to be able to compare with the original bill from Celcom, e.g., say, my app monthly billing is RM5.00 but Pinggir pandai pandai adds in additional RM3.00. What da fek? Such MF.

Their system is F*CKED. Wanted to clarify with certain billing and of course, they went silent even after numerous attempts of contacting them and in the end my line kena terminated and here they are asking me to pay for the re-connection fees (RM15). Feckin' mongrols!

The service is 100% pure garbage, a lot of untrained staffs that has led me to lodge several reports to MCMC. The battle is exhausting man. Just imagine you're doing that for months - of waiting, complaining, waiting, complaining and then baru 'solved'. Here I want to reiterate, your issues will NEVER be solved. Because Pinggir likes to keep bringing new FRESH sh*t and you'd have to go through the whole vicious cycle again. Waiting..complaining..waiting...complaining.... doo dee doo doo deeee

Now I read @rozaidimustafa post, wahlao, 3+1 year contract nia ma. Now I'm contemplating to sell one of my kidneys and then plan to have a peaceful life with other major Telcos (omg, i miss u so much Celcom, sorry i have forsaken u pls forgive me)

But yea in all seriousness, it seems like they have a bad rep in low yat. I just wished I've read these before committing my soul.

Guys, same thing goes here, 2 year contract suddenly change to 3+1 yeah, u need 1 year prior notice before need to cut their line, some more always simply charge, this and that, bla bla bla. Really super angry. I suggest we group together and Cheong to their company, we are all victims, I also lodge the report to mcmc, but seem useless.

Here is the report I lodge to mcmc. Not me but my gf kena.

I suggest we open a whatapps group, and pull all the victim in. Collect evidence and straight away Cheong to their company.

The agent name Buffy and he is a agent of Neptune Voice Sdn Bhd, also known as Pinggir armada/Avista inc.

they are a internet provider company. very irresponsible guys and company, false information and cheat customer to sign their contract and simply charges customer(their monthly bill often have a lot unknown number even I dint use the phone to call out)

when all the thing happen, want him to solve play disappear, call to their company always no response... but never missed to collect the money & penalty for late payment.

Recently feeling want to stop their service and they told the contract is 36+12 month, which is a 4 year contract, but actually the agent told us the contract is 2 year before we sign the contract.

If want to terminate their services, they mention need to pay all the month left, as the example, if the monthly fee is RM169, after 1 year u want to terminate their service, you need to pay back the rest of another 3 year which mean RM169x36(month), at least 6k plus to terminate their services.

i feel being cheated and that will i write the complain here. not only me have this problem, after i did some research, i found out the company review in google is bad, and research for more deeper, found there is more victim like me, some even worse with 300 month contract, i think quite a number of people lodge the report already.

Add on more, this is how I starting their services:
In 14th September of 2018, i was planning to move my shop to new place, and that time, got a Malay walk in and mention he is from TM wanted to check my TM bill, i though he is really from TM so i open the bill and let him to check, after he check my bill, he told me the amount of my bill is very high, and suddenly he mention he actually is from maxis, then he starting to introduce me his plan, he told me if I’m interested in it, he will ask his upline to contact with me to let me know more detail about it. And then he left.

Within half an hour, another 2 Chinese guys walk in together, one of them name buffy and they started to introduce their plan and push me to sign with them because they mention their plan better with good rate. That time I mention i don’t want to change because i want to use back TM and i plan to ask TM about whether can use back my current office number in my new shop, then the guys (buffy) straight away told me the phone number cannot be use back if you move it to other shop, some more guarantee me 100% cannot use back the same office number.

That time im asking some question about how can I paid their services and they told me I can go any maxis centre to made the payment, and how long will be the processing time for installation of internet services in my new shop, and the guy(buffy) told me after I pay the deposit to them, he say confirm within 1 week after I move my shop can help me settle all and done the installation.

Therefore, i only decide to sign the internet with them, in the same day which is 14th of September 2018, he collect RM100 deposit with me on the spot and he say he say will collect another RM470 deposit after the device is come, the total of deposit is RM570. Just to be clear another RM470 I pay them with cash in 4th October.

I contact them in 1st of October 2018 and ask them when will come for the installation, but no response/reply, I thinking its ok drag a little because I plan to install the CCTV and then only ask them to come for the installation. Then the thing drag until 9th of November 2018 still no response/reply from buffy, I contact them again and I was really angry as they already affected my office schedule.

Then he only reply me and told me currently got no port in my area, need to use WVB, wireless broadband first, im ok with it to use the wiresless broadband first, but after a week of using the wireless broadband, they collect back the device and then I don’t have internet to use again.

I was angry about it and I request for a refund with them and they mention yes, it can be refund because its their problem. However, until 27th of December 2018 I still haven receive my deposit back and once again I message him and he told me help me to check. Just a add on, within that time of period, im actually calling to update about the refund of my deposit but he always mention to me have to wait.

After the reply from him of 27th of December, he starting to play disappear, no pick up call, no reply my message until 3rd of March, I really super angry about and luckily I found his Instagram picture and send to him, I told him if u continue to play disappear I will post his picture to internet/facebook and expose how he handle my case, straight away, he reply my message by sending me his company email address and ask me to follow up with them.

I email to the company but no response, then I calling many times and finally a malay lady pick up, I asked about how is my refund and she also told me the same thing, still in the process. Then after a long time, still no response/reply from them, so I calling them again about how is the update, but suddenly they told me their company don’t have refund policy. i’m asking where is buffy and they told me he is currently in japan. The malay lady told me she is fully in charge in the case, if I want the deposit back, must continue to use their services, after 2 year contract finished, the deposit only able to refund.

They use this kind of tactic to make me stay with them, I cannot do anything and accepted it. However, the monthly bill often haven unknown number call out and they simply charge it on my bill. Called to ask always no response. That all the case here.

Then he only reply me and told me currently got no port in my area, need to use WVB, wireless broadband first, im ok with it to use the wiresless broadband first, but after a week of using the wireless broadband, they collect back the device and then I don’t have internet to use again.

I was angry about it and I request for a refund with them and they mention yes, it can be refund because its their problem. However, until 27th of December 2018 I still haven receive my deposit back and once again I message him and he told me help me to check. Just a add on, within that time of period, im actually calling to update about the refund of my deposit but he always mention to me have to wait.

After the reply from him of 27th of December, he starting to play disappear, no pick up call, no reply my message until 3rd of March, I really super angry about and luckily I found his Instagram picture and send to him, I told him if u continue to play disappear I will post his picture to internet/facebook and expose how he handle my case, straight away, he reply my message by sending me his company email address and ask me to follow up with them.

I email to the company but no response, then I calling many times and finally a malay lady pick up, I asked about how is my refund and she also told me the same thing, still in the process. Then after a long time, still no response/reply from them, so I calling them again about how is the update, but suddenly they told me their company don’t have refund policy. i’m asking where is buffy and they told me he is currently in japan. The malay lady told me she is fully in charge in the case, if I want the deposit back, must continue to use their services, after 2 year contract finished, the deposit only able to refund.

They use this kind of tactic to make me stay with them, I cannot do anything and accepted it. However, the monthly bill often haven unknown number call out and they simply charge it on my bill. Called to ask always no response. That all the case here.

Aiyo, definitely not TM Staff. Just like police and other GLC, you can ask the "TM Staff" to show their proof of identity of said corporate. The same applies with TM Contractors / Installers.

i have been called by pinggir armada but my story is different from your brother.

So, pinggir armada called me and offered me a good package to switch to them (they claim they are sub from celcom). Thus i agreed. The salesman met me and i signed the form. He said my telco will port over to pinggir armada package on the next day.

However, 1 month passed and my telco still hadn't port to pinggir armada. I got fedup for waiting and i signed a new package with celcom instead. No issues so far.

Weirdly, pinggir armada didnt contact me and i am still using celcom's new package until now.

Thank God pinggir armada may have tercicir or forgotten my request. I heard they are a shady telco organization but its just rumors i guess.

My advice: read the feedback in this forum if one wants to sign up any packages from these two companies.

If I were you, I won't sign anything with Pinggir Armada and Neptune Voice.

Sorry to revive this old thread,anyone of u manage to solve this problem??complained to mcmc twice but they cant really do anything as is not big 4 telco company,so now i am trying with tribunal

i work for this company b4....so shaddy until i stop after few days....dint even pay me..
ask ppl sign this and that
some ask and some dont (most dont)
some custermer even ask me to resign and go work else where bcause i say i also just started
