Anyone been to Tokyo Disneyland or Disneysea recently? I joined a facebook group about Tokyo TDL/TDS planning and everyone is tallking about buying the Premier Pass, etc or staying at the partner hotels to skip the lines. One even claimed that they were unable to have a sit down meal because all restaurants were fully booked, as early as 1 month prior! Is it really that crazy now?
i went to Disneysea in 2022 after JP reopen from covid, all i can say is prepare for the horde and rush
even with premier passes, you need to queue hours. i didnt and i queued 3hrs for one ride

average wait time per ride/show is around 1hr+
same goes for makan place, but the wait is not as bad as the rides

My one week winter Sapporo review
Snow fes are meh, people (mostly tourists) everywhere, roads are super slippery and hard to walk. Almost fall for a few times too. Foods at the event are super duper expensive. IMO see photos on soc med way nicer compared to going to the festival itself. Will probably not go again in the future.
A lot of parks are closed during winter time, beer garden is boring but some of the museums are quite interesting. Going from one place to another is super duper far but that is expected from Hokkaido.
For me the most disappointing is genghis khan at daikokuya. Way too overhyped. The lamb is almost tasteless and the secret sauce is just salty… both soup curry and butter corn ramen are just ok. Ironically the best food I had while here is mcd black pepper nuggets. Also don’t know why they call kaarage as zangi here lol
Saw a lot of bad behaviours prc and hk ppl, have talked to my guesthouse owner and some locals and all of them hate c country ppl
but luckily they seem to like MalaysiansMoving on to asahikawa next monday, hopefully the zoo won’t disappoint

thats pretty much what i think of Sapporo also, mostly international based tourists than local tourists. heh you didnt prepare for those slippery snowy walks with those microspikes on shoes/boots? if this is Tokyo or major city you shouldnt need but Hokkaido man, the snow is intense
ill be in Nagano region end of this month, and i already prepared alot of winter walking gear maybe cause ill be closer to mountainside

bolded part is as usual from China tourists, but do remember before stigmatising them. japan sees a tonne of PRC tourists so the chances of seeing them being an arse are insanely high and outnumbers the good china tourists
