Unfortubately I'm not rich and cannot afford a BMW.

But the fact remains...proton selling crap cars...ask yourself if Civic ok dun talk about civic, I'll give handicap...if City and Vios selling same price as Persona...which would you buy???

Between Persona vs Vios/City its a touch choice since Vios and City is a basic car. But of course, both you and me knows its not fair to compare like this.

If not because of the stupid tax to protect Proton, Persona shall be on the same class as Civic or Altis. Thats why it has been we Malaysians agreed wholeheartedly that no tax Proton will chap lap already lah.

Went to see the car at PE. It looks much better than in picture. Too bad that only base line model is on display at the showroom. SA told me it should take 2 months to get a car but base line model should be faster. Also need to provide bank slip and EPF slip for loan application. Is this standard now, because last time they only need IC, license and 3 months payslip.

Some people went extremely gaga over city and vios especially, the fact remains they're overrated basic cars. Yes I'll choose Persona, Proton chassis dynamics wins over the models cater to 3rd world people hands down. Try to drive a Vios at 160km/h over long period - see can take off like a plane or not.

of coz the few of you will choose a persona...I'm not suprise you'll even choose a kancil over vios

well if i were to choose between a persona or a vios i would definitely choose a persona. WHy u ask?

for one its cheaper its only 55k for the high line model vs 70k for the Vios. Dont bring the tax issue here as we live in malaysia so just accept it as it is

THe rear seat is much2 bigger than the vios. THe rear legroom for the vios is dam SMALL. im 178 cm and my leg just cukup2 only fit in the back seat. That is how small it is. IT feels like im sitting in a kelisa

THe engine is much powerful than the than the toyota enigne and the vios engine is a bit loud..IThe campro a bit laggy in the lower end but reviews confirmed that the low end problem has been solved.

Spare part are cheap and abundant as they are made in malaysia

I dont really know the FC of the persona but let say that u need to put in rm60 for a week. with the 15k i save if i buy the persona rather than the vios i could fill rm60 for 250 weeks! that is like nearly 5 years of fuel! Now which car is better in the fuel dept. hehe
