You ordered directly from Switcheasy?

I read that those ordered before June will be affected due to the magnets - especially for 12.9 inch.

I bought from Lazada or Shopee.

Do you mind sharing the shop and also a photo of your MK & Coverbuddy? Very curious

Mine doesn’t close, so I assume there’s something with the magnets that does not seem to ‘stick’ the case with the keyboard.

I think you got a lemon unit. Try contacting SwitchEasy. They honour the RMAs. There were already few cases where in order to get a replacement unit, you need to actually agree to them (but must contact them and they have to agree to send a new unit to you first) to destroy your unit before they send a new replacement unit.

I mean, the way I understood is,

1) contact SwitchEasy.
2) once confirmed that they will replace and re-ship to you, they will ask for proof.
3) the proof is you need to destroy the cover in a certain manner. Then send the video of you doing that, or the end result, and send the video to them.
4) Once confirmed genuine, then they’ll send you a replacement unit.

At least that’s what I understood from the reddit threads.

I was reading about this issue on Reddit as well - who knew mine would turn out to be a lemon unit 😑

Got my iPad Pro 11 after like 30 days (ordered 25 June and delivered 24 July) but good thing is that Apple only charge when they shipped it. (for my case is 18 July).

Good thing is that all others accessories arrived before iPad arrived.

Installed CoverBuddy and it works well with my Smart Keyboard. I didn’t go for the Magic Keyboard because I don’t like the extra weight of it. I got a MacBook Pro 13 so would prefer something lighter (that’s the reason I didn’t go for the 12.9” iPad Pro too)

So far so good, just feel that the battery drain quite fast when on zoom meeting on LTE connection.

I wish the Magic Keyboard wasn't made with this soft touch material, especially the edges.

Though it is sturdy and pretty comfortable to type on, I keep getting paranoid thinking if I will damage the edges when opening the keyboard. The material on the keyboard is just so not ready for outdoors, especially on wet surfaces / rough surfaces.

I just placed order from the website directly this time, should be a 'revised' version - I can't live without the Coverbuddy knowing that I use it in tablet mode most of the time to write notes.
