Could you also route me to get access to web settings of V2801 firmware. I can not access by typing 192.168.1.1 directly.
I am using EdgeRouter4 but I can only access to sfp via telnet from edgerouter CLI
[attachmentid=10838120]
*
Simply add sfp1 (192.168.1.1/24) into NAT group,
so, from LAN 192.168.10.1 to WAN 192.168.1.1

In mikrotik, I like this:

I can access V2801F 192.168.1.1 from my LAN 192.168.88.0/24

I could not manage to get access to web or telnet directly from computer.

Could it be related with following flash set parameters?

CODE

 <Value Name="VS_AUTH_KEY" Value="00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00"/>
 <Value Name="PON_VENDOR_ID" Value="ERSN"/>
 <Value Name="GPON_SN" Value="ERSN0003fc39"/>
 <Value Name="EPON_ONU_MODEL" Value="0000"/>
 <Value Name="EPON_EXTONU_MODEL" Value="T63G"/>

or could it be errors during boot? I found following errors or warnings

what I can say is I could not find /bin/ip command in V2801F firmware but it was there for UFinstant firmware.
Is it possible you to provide each partition of V2801F firmware?

or could it be errors during boot? I found following errors or warnings

*
after you migrate to V2801F, you need valid VS_AUTH_KEY, example:
CODE

flash set HW_HWVER RTL960x
flash set ELAN_MAC_ADDR 6CEFC6000000
flash set VS_AUTH_KEY 00CF646955CCBDB88AB3B68922DB810F

Valid VS_AUTH_KEY depend on HW_HWVER & ELAN_MAC_ADDR

OK I forgot to mention it is UBOOT command.

What about extracting all partitions?

Could you do that and upload it to github?

Unfortunately when you want to run a datacentre from home without proper lighting arrestors.
No pain no gain. At least you learned quite a lot about TM's GPON setup which the knowledge is worth so much more.

Yea, everything is learning~ blush.gif

Just odd problem...

My TV LAN connected via TP-Link Deco M4R

TV, Deco M4R, Soundbar, several Phone Charger share same Belkin plug, just TV died, other is working fine... confused.gif

RB3011UiAS-RM at upstairs at network closet:
LAN 10: TP-Link Archer C5v (Maxis VoIP)
LAN 9: Not Connected
LAN 8: Not Connected
LAN 7: Deco M4R (Main)
LAN 6: Server LAN Port 2 (WAN Priority)

LAN 5: Brother in Law PC
LAN 4: Imouto PC
LAN 3: Little Brother PC
LAN 2: My PC
LAN 1: Server LAN Port 1 (LAN Priority)

SFP: GPON Stick

USB: Maxis 4G Backup

Now into confusing situation:
3011UiAS LAN Port 1 - 5 is fried, but, Device on LAN 1 - 5 survived, my PC LAN port working well, same with other PC and Server.

Just can't brain how this is happen, I manage open 3011UiAS, nothing is friend...

I keep thinking, it hurt my head how this weird happen.

To add more weird issue:

My setup is abit strange, I currently have Maxis 800/200 (not on TM infra) -> Echolife HG8240H5 -> TP-Link L2 Switch (T2600G-28MPS) -> x86 Pfsense
The TP-Link has 4 SFP slots, will it be possible for me to use a GPON SFP ONT module as a bridge to replace the Echolife and hopefully get symmetrical speed?

Following the discussion from last year. @Anime4000 how the verdict now? what brand recommended and it is possible to use or TM already start doing something?

I believe your ONU have 1000Mbps Link and your PPPoE account get speed cap,

Try this: https://www.dslreports.com/speedtest

if you get A or A+ on bufferbloat, means your ONU in full speed, no cap.
if you get B or below on bufferbloat, means your ONU obey OLT defined speed, you can use custom ONU to override this, but ISP can know since OLT sending alarm signal

I do put surge protector,

device on LAN1-5 are not effected, only Mikrotik LAN1-5 fried.
also I have Port Flop issue, cause RB3011UiAS get restarted when transfer file in full speed

Using GPON ONU Stick is very stable! I use V2801F and TWCGPON657 (V2801F firmware)
Plus you can set MTU 1500 bytes on PPPoE!!! (by increasing LAN & VLAN to MTU 1508 bytes)
Yes! GPON ONU Stick support Jumbo Frame, GPON have fixed MTU which is 2000 bytes!

TM can't block user using custom ONU, since ONU can send fake information to TM OLT
