I have 2 ONT, stock TM give me and TIME ONT,
I simply put Password and it works,
Both ONT have SN: 48575443 (HWTC)

The config file I got was not encrypted, and didn't store any SN or ONT Password:
https://github.com/Anime4000/Hacking_Huawei...ee_modified.xml

What I do, enable Telnet and SSH with it
*
as long as Mikrotik GPON SFP/Huawei support OMCI required by TM than it may work,

I haven't try it though for mikrotik.

Based on the screenshot I don't think we can do that as the minimum value is '1'.

I'll try it again this weekend

Default vlan is vlan1 for RG btway

a script to request dhcp after x seconds after link up if ping fails might work!

unrelated: actually i wonder if we get one of those cheap gpon OLT sticks maybe we can reconfigure some tm ONUs via omci too!
*
The things is GPON are quite dependent on OMCI send by the OLT, if you config on the other OLT, when you plug back to TM OLT, the OLT itself will send back the OMCI and overwrite it. except for some layer 3 configuration if necessary

i was thinking maybe omci could be used to read/overwrite ont login credentials or enable telnet/webui, since i doubt the olt will push the entire config (eg passwords, telnet/web acls etc) whenever the ont is connected?
*
Whenever ONU is connected to OLT, ONU will try to register themselves using SLID/ONU password using PLOAM to OLT

From there OLT will send all the configuration back such as profile & ME etc, including UNI, T-Cont and GEM Port which may differ depend on how operator config it, every time when the ONT is registered/sync back to OLT.

As mention earlier, this does not include any layer 3 configuration which require either webui or tr069

The mac (onu mac) was on the back sticker of my ZTE ONU. You can get it also by telneting into it.

My ISP bind 1:1 - PPPoE Account : ONU MAC

And my solution for overheating:

[attachmentid=10726613]

[attachmentid=10726614]

[attachmentid=10726615]

hahaha that is quite extreme cooling, how about noise level?

I bought Hisense LTF7221 X/G-PON

[attachmentid=10749837]
[attachmentid=10749838]
[attachmentid=10749839]
[attachmentid=10749840]
[attachmentid=10749841]
[attachmentid=10749842]
[attachmentid=10749843]

This xPON is passive and did not have SoC Internet Processor, thus not handle OMCI or anykind.

Conclusion: Did not work, require GPON with SFP, example: ZTE F220
*
The main reason is not working is due to its a XGPON ONU class N1 , which run on different wavelength which is 1270nm Upstream and 1577nm Downstream while GPON is 1310nm upstream and 1490nm downstream.

And yes, it require pluggable SFP type ONU(usually XG/XGS-PON ONU come with Pluggable SFP)

Hi Team,
            First of all thanks for this interesting threads. I'm newbie to this forum. I've attempt to do this change from ONU to GPON SFP after following this thread. Bought 1 sercomm Fgs202 and have 1 unused Fortigate 500D.

Action Taken:

1. Captured SLID password from current I-240G-P ONT
2. Tested setup fortigate 500D with pppoe account (  I-240G-P ONT > Fortigate [RJ45] ) successful
3. Plugged in sfp fgs202 in fortigate' sfp port, with fiber inserted light turns ON and detected on webui

Issue : sfp couldn't established WAN connection with pppoe , if not mistaken as advise here before need to change the SLID password inside sfp.
Kindly seek advice on how to access the sfp fgs202 to change the SLID password.  I believe this fgs202 don't have webui, need to telnet or something sorry if Im wrong. But not sure how .Hope to learn something during this MCO  smile.gif

Thanks all
*
Have u try telnet to 192.168.2.200/24 and run "set gpon_password YOURSLIDHERE"

Based on picture here, the GPON LAN IP is set as 192.168.2.200 https://forum.openwrt.org/t/support-for-gpo...fp-fgs202/42641

bad news... my Mikrotik RB3011-UiAS got struck by lightning.....  cry.gif and my smart TV with it....  rclxub.gif

Port 1 - 5 cannot use
Port 6 -10 & SFP can use

now cacat already

gladly GPON ONU Stick working fine, no problem...

very odd...

my network equipment, server and pc's protected by Belkin Surge Protector

Somewhat it fried Mikrotik LAN ports....

ooh my, your smart TV are connected via LAN too?

Hi sifu, just curious but can we use XPON stick if we don't use GPON stick? Also currently I'm looking at ONU OLT from Alibaba that has 10GBe and 2.5GBe LAN, would we be able to mod that with our original ONU OLT info onto it?

Also if we were to use let's say a Intel 82599ES SFP+ PCIe card, would we be able to theoretically pull greater than gigabit if our Unifi is on a 2Gbps plan with an XPON stick? Appreciate your input on this!
*
Mind sharing the XPON stick model, is it XGSPON? if yes, that it wouldn't work unless connected to XGSPON OLT, as their wavelength is different

Snopped around on some Chinese forums regarding LTF7263-BH+
https://www.chiphell.com/forum.php?mod=view...353807&mobile=2

Looks like the interface is quite bare, even more bare than ODI stick. Only can configure LOID, LOID PASSWORD, PLOAM PASSWORD via WebGUI. Not sure how robust their SSH interfaces are to change anything, but it's also a realtek chipset(CA8271S) from what YuukiJapanTech can gather on his/her github, so the flash command should still be able to be utilized assuming if realtek didn't change anything from the RTL960x family.

I'll get one next month to play around with next month probably, but the chances of it working with TM is quite steep, unlike China Telecom which looks like they only check for PLOAM, MAC and LOID?

Also the wavelength for LTF7263-BH+ is 1270nm/1577nm, does TM use the same wavelength as this or is it compatible despite it not being the exact same?
*
1270nm and 1577nm is XGSPON Wavelength, it would not work with GPON, the reason XGSPON running different wavelength to GPON is due to planning on GPON and XGSPON can ride in the same fiber core without interfering each other (coexist together)

thing is, even Nokia brand, it's still use ALCL (Alcatel-Lucent) in OMCI MIB 131

I asked TM what OLT I under: Nokia 7360FX OLT
user posted image

Here some MIB 131 ID that I know so far within TM
ASCII ID HEX ID   Vendor Name
ALCL     414c434c Nokia/Alcatel-Lucent
FHTT     46485454 Fiberhome
HWTC     48575443 Huawei
TPLG     54504c47 TP-Link
UBNT     55424e54 Ubiquiti
ZTEG     5a544547 ZTE
*
Basically 7360 is developed by Alcatel Lucent before Nokia acquired them, and they maintain whatever they have developed , all OLT under NOKIA is derived from ALU

We might see Nokia if Lightspan MF being used instead.

I have both the GN630E and GN630V but didn't do a full teardown. Decent quality and both come with heatsink. The SoC is hidden inside the EMI shield.

Huawei OLT way of managing bandwidth for each ONT on GPON L2 level is known as DBA. There's multiple T-CONT for different services and each T-CONT have their own DBA profile. It's more or less similar on other OLT.

I've tried a 2Gbps PPPOE account and I am getting the same 950Mbps as I am limited by my OLT DBA bandwidth profile.
*
DBA only apply on upstream/upload though
