Plan to destroy TM ONT every month so I can dump ONT data and have some rebate, double win, see how long TM can tahan every month replace ONT

Haha serve it right TM lol. Increased library of ONT data certainly is a good thing since can add a wide choice of ONT selection for the Auto Reboot Fix. Need to fire up my Linux machine for this. First of all I really need a router that supports a SFP slot. Then buy the stick from taobao. Really thankful for the guide. Almost step by step lol. With some Linux knowledge, should not be that hard to flash the firmware etc

Flash firmware just from WebGUI, after you execute echo 3 > /proc/fiber_mode in Telnet to block auto-reboot

Simply put:
1. Update firmware from C00R657V00B12 to V2801F_V1.9.0-201104
2. After firmware update, login to Telnet Quickly
3. Enter echo 3 > /proc/fiber_mode command Quickly (you may need unplug fiber)
4. Enter these command to fix wrong VS_AUTH_KEY:

6. During reboot, plug fiber back
7. Login WebGUI
8. Re-Update same firmware V2801F_V1.9.0-201104 again, this is must do after fix VS_AUTH_KEY
9. Once Re-Update complete, you can put PLOAM password
10. Enjoy

I think it works with TIME too,

Other stick like DFP-34X-2C2 wont work with Maxis under Unifi,
Only V2801F firmware can work, something magic that able to fully L2 Bridge

VoIP Bridge also works on V2801F!

So, why not? sure it work on TIME Fiber.

Like Unifi, TM only care your GPON/PLOAM Password, TM doesn't care MAC Address, Firmware Version, Hardware Version, etc...

yea, I connected to Nokia OLT, I saw OMCI log tried to issue OTA Firmware Update several times, surely GPON Stick refuse update due to wrong firmware.
But, I increase buffer a bit let reduce some bufferbloat problem

successfully tested V2801F into Fortigate 500D. thanks to Anime4000 to initiate this idea and other members who share guides here. personally myself 1st timer in this whole process, good learning

1. V2801F brought from Russia, rm320 + shipping , almost 2 month+ to receive
2. Earlier brought sercomm FGS202 from France no WebGui , couldn't make it run & not able to telnet
3. V2801F with WebGui easy just entered SLID password from TM's GPON ONT Alcatel-Lucent I-240G-P , need to convert from Hex to Ascii

V2801F might need heat-sink and fan if room temperature is warm.

If V2801F died, you can buy TWCGPON657 at taobao and Flash V2801F frimware,
