Ya maybe for security purpose? We know which website it download from and have physical apk so we can individually scan them before install.
I have blackberry apps that can be install in any Android phone (blocked in Play Store, only BB devices can download) like this launcher. It straight away download and install each app in the launcher. This way we don't know where it download from, no physical apk to send for scan.

But for me, I don't mind as long as I trust the developer.

Anyone who installed Good Luck with this method on the SME set? Any issues?

Haaiyaa! people are still having trouble downloading Good Lock? This was addressed weeks ago! Just download Windscribe free VPN on Play Store, clear cache/data Galaxy Store, reboot your Fold 2, turn on VPN , set to US Dallas server before entering Galaxy Store app and voila! It’s your first search result when you type “Good Lock” .

Front case:
Pros- The frame's border sits on the bazel and slight distance from the screen so all the gesture from the sides can be easily done. The right side of the frame is on the same level of screen and cover like a bumper rather than protruding frame.
Cons- Because the right frame is too thin, you can pull it apart from the phone body, but it usually stays intact unless you purposely do so. There is no cut out near the fingerprint reader, so anyone with big thumb might feel a a bit uncomfortable to use the fingerprint unlock. I personally can live with that.

Back case:
Basically well protected with a slight sticking out over the camera bump. The glossy black and the grains design can be seen clearly through the transparent case.

My verdict: It is a decent case that is recommended for daily use. I would give up my aramid case and use it instead, but probably need to add an iRing or air cushion phone bracket to replace the stand of aramid cover if you want.

Here is the example. I just subscribed new Digi plan Prepaid NEXT RM30 for 20GB and adding that to esim.
It will shows the old one in inactive. You can add more but only 1 esim and 1 physical can be activate at one time.

The old Digi is postpaid, will terminate later at their SC.

U can use dbrand skin with this case. Waiting for my teardown skin.

Its not working. With vpn connected to dallas and both cache and data cleared the error message is still content not available in my country

Lurked in /GalaxyFold subreddit again, got reminded of the free "Samsung TV Plus" service that's USA only. Geofencing/geoblocking is much more aggressive in Google Play Store so I couldn't get the app that way, got the apk the "alternative way". After that, its free Live TV (US channels), free TVshows and a decent selection of free movies as well, just finished watching Silence of The Lamb movie there with my NordVPN.

You're welcomed to try with free Windscribe VPN, it should work the same, just that Windscribe free VPN is 10GB/month, unlimited connections 10 10 select countries (US included), so if you're confident you're not gonna use all 10GB quota in a month, it refreshes monthly. Only need to create an account with them. I use NordVPN coz I know my own usage will bust that quota and beyond for my Netflix USA, HBO MAX, Disney+, PeacockTV( another great free service), Hulu, IMDBTV usage. If you're a light user WindscribeVPN works. While they're still trying to expand their userbase, thats why they're that generous with that 10GB, expect them to slowly pull it back to paid service once they gain enough market confidence and traction.

reboot, then turn on VPN, your device need to latch on to the VPN stably, else the Store will just deny you. Make sure Galaxy Store is not running in the background before you turn on VPN.

Kill all apps running in background. Turn off location in setting. clear data/cache. Reboot. Turn VPN on, VPN server Dallas or new York. Go into Galaxy Store, look for Good Lock.

If that doesnt work, Samsung has either done something else to lock out freeVPN users, or you can continue shuffling between other cities in US. Im using NordVPN, everything is wide open as if I'm accessing from New York (my chosen server city). I even get US-based ads in my app advertisement. Haaaiiiyyaaaa!

Else you might wanna try VPN Korea city server or research what other countries GoodLock is available in and VPN into that country.

If all fails only option would be to look for the most up-to-date apk in apk-repository sites and pray it's not infested in trojans or keylogger.

Still NG. Maybe my galaxy store is signed in with my Samsung account which is a Malaysia account. But if not signed in we cannot download any app from the store right?

link only when I am connected to vpn dallas but when click install it opens store and error stating not available in my country.

Here is how I got mine to work, no reboot required.

1. Eject your sim card, no need to actually remove the sim card from the tray. You get a notification saying no sim card available.
2. Connect VPN
3. Clear Galaxy Store Data
4. Open Galaxy Store, search for Good Lock

Your SIM being the last element that pinpoints your location, Neekun. I failed to mention that my Fold is still SIM card-less, not moving into it as my daily driver until I get the case I’m waiting for and thanks to COVID, case gets delayed delivery. It’s in the country from Korea and Singapore, just nobody from customs and post service processing it.

Either way glad it’s solved. Start with the Multi Star module and make your apps full screen I know I did that first can’t stand Instagramin it’s with weird aspect ratio. There’s a peculiar Galaxy Fold specific section called “I Love Galaxy Fold”, the obvious place to start.
