QUOTE(suilow1991 @ Oct 3 2020, 02:45 AM) ![]() This one I tested with Aukey PA-Y13 on it's USB-C PD. Can see "fast charging" compared to "super fast charging" below. ![]() This one is using the original charger that came with the phone. Overall, roughly 15mins slower according to estimation from 16%-100%. You can consider this if you don't mind the difference. |

QUOTE(KomradMikhail @ Oct 3 2020, 07:00 AM) Never had to care or contend with fast charging or slow charging. My Fold 2 stays charged like a desktop PC is, in the Dex Pad, when I need to be outside, the USB-C PD powerbank does the job. I’ve the Anker charger too but that’s permanently on a Nintendo Switch in the game room. Or maybe I can swap that out and let it use its own Nintendo charger. Or maybe I can use the Nintendo Switch official charger as the charger for the Fold 2, it’s USB-C PD, would the Fold gets fast charging from it? Its a choice by individual need. If u feel u doesnt need the fast charging than up 2 u. For me i need multiple charger 1 for home, 1 for office/travel. And yes using xiaomi power bank 3 pro whre i cant plug. Am glad that I had the Switch earlier, I’ve done my fair share of searching for fast charging for that, that should cover the need for Fold 2 charging as well. For the time my current setup with the Dex Pad kept it charged, despite the charger that comes with the Dex Pad not chasing it turbo-speed while in Dex mode(to prevent overheating, coz Dex already generated plenty of heat multitasking, you don’t wanna compound the issue further with stressing the batteries (and descreasing battery lifespan) with fast charging. I’ll take steady constant charging over fast charging. I dont mind abusing the Switch with fast charging, it’s only 1k to replace. The Fold however is 8k. |

QUOTE(chkhoo76 @ Oct 3 2020, 02:02 PM) The term fast charge was quite subjective. In fact if you check samsung original charger for fold 2, i believed its only 45W (im not border about the rating) and its charging my fold 2 quite fast. I think original come with the phone is 25w.If you talking about 65W, you need to get high performance cable to speed up the charging as well which i have baseus 65W with the cable for my MBP |

QUOTE(suilow1991 @ Oct 7 2020, 06:08 PM) ![]() Me also just received the cheap cover today. Tried to put on the front cover because I already have the aramid cover on the back. The profile of the frame is so thick and near the edge of the screen, making swipe-in gesture for BACK literally impossible, either from left or right side. Same goes to the edge panel for multitasks. As a result, have to give up using this case that makes life more difficult. Now waiting for another case that was recommended in reddit to ship from China. So hard to find a suitable front cover. Samsung really should have made the cover together with the front screen part and not left us with the phone protected half way... then i come across with this https://shopee.com.my/Samsung-Galaxy-Z-Fold...3941.7051654616 from the video i think the front case thin enough i guess. |

QUOTE(suilow1991 @ Oct 17 2020, 04:55 PM) Simple review of the transparent case referred by link87 U can use dbrand skin with this case. Waiting for my teardown skin. Photos: Google Photos Front case: Pros- The frame's border sits on the bazel and slight distance from the screen so all the gesture from the sides can be easily done. The right side of the frame is on the same level of screen and cover like a bumper rather than protruding frame. Cons- Because the right frame is too thin, you can pull it apart from the phone body, but it usually stays intact unless you purposely do so. There is no cut out near the fingerprint reader, so anyone with big thumb might feel a a bit uncomfortable to use the fingerprint unlock. I personally can live with that. Back case: Basically well protected with a slight sticking out over the camera bump. The glossy black and the grains design can be seen clearly through the transparent case. My verdict: It is a decent case that is recommended for daily use. |
