The new x9000j 2021 model do any of you got any idea how much the FALD dimming zone sony gonna give the the poor x9000 series this time round....for your guys information our beloved x9000h now got 32 zone...which is not very good...but ive yet to see the bad blooming issue on my 55 x9000h yet...maybe the sony processing technology do wonders till i cant notice the blooming to be nott to obvious.....my FALD setting i leave it at default medium...so far so good...

But if the J model.this year they uograde the FALD zone maube around 100zone which i doubt....i thimk i gonna get myself another 65 x9000 series tv again this year....

Even with soany shortcomings....i really in love with my X9000h tv...the best tv ive ever own....im gonna skip oled and wiat for the sony mini LED. Instead...

Hi sorry. Noob question.

Im using sony x75h. But couldnt cast my iphone to the tv.

How to cast my iphone to the tv? Already downloaded google home on my iphone. But cannot detect the tv.

I go to setting, then go to chromecast, there is nothing there. Built in chromecast on the tv is always on right?

So what should i do?

X75h doesnt support apple airplay.

Before this i use panasonic led tv, i plug in google chromecast, i can used it with my iphone.

But now w this sony tv w built in chromecast, my google home couldnt detect the tv.

  • If you are using WIFI: make sure you are on the same WIFI SSID irrespective of its 2.4 or 5GHz band. But, if you set so many guest SSIDs; by default, they are isolated from one another - true for ASUS routers; the isolation mode can be disabled if you want so that all guest WIFI SSIDs can reach each other. If you want to maintain the WIFI SSID isolation for the guest network, then you must use the same WIFI SSID as the TV. It is necessary since Google Cast needs to broadcast its service protocol for the Google Cast clients to discover the service.
  • Install Google Home app. Check the Google Home permissions settings in your iPhone: make sure Bluetooth and Local Network are allowed; the latter is the most important one; I don't know why Bluetooth is needed unless it is used for the Bonjour service.
  • Check the visibility of the Google Cast service with an Android phone and the Google Home app, using the same Google account used on your iPhone. It is to make sure your Google account used to set up the Google Home settings in your Android phone is the same Google account used on your iPhone. Hopefully, it should work fine.
  • If after checking with an Android phone it failed, then check the Chromecast built-in app in your TV settings under the Apps section: make sure it is enabled and reboot the TV
  • If you don't have an Android phone, you can test the same thing by casting from the Chrome browser on your laptop (but not on your iPhone since it is not supported) using the same Google account.

Need help.

my TV is Sony Bravia 65"x8000h.

and i just bought Sony 2.1C soundbar

i connect the HDMI to my TV HDMI-Arc port (3rd count from top).

i switch the audio output to 'Audio system' but there is no sound coming out from the sound bar.

anything i set is wrong?

and i use HDMI High Speed with Ethernet cable

'Update'
ok, i need to plug in the optic cable only got sound.

basically i need to plugin optic cable +hdmi arc so i can control volume on the tv remote.

question

is the soundbar sound normally low?

on tv speaker - tv volume i normally put at 10-12, and with soundbar, i set it to 30-35 around the same volume i got.

is it normal?

Just came back from senq comparing both 75inch x80 & x90 side by side, at first 1 meter distance view i dont see any diff between them, but when i move to 4-5 meter back, i notice some colour/detail pale on x80 while x90 seems handle it well.

X80 75inch onwards is VA panel btw.
My opinion, wether ur using the tv for ps5 or not, definitely x90 will not make u regret for that price

thanks

my sofa will only be 6-7 feet from the tv though. 8 feet max. that's 2.4m.
55inch might be an overkill actually but i dont want to regret on the size as im doing a built in cabinet to fit the tv.

X80h 65” and X90H 55” is about the same price. For this budget you would recommend going for X90H?

I think if you compare it side to side, you will see some differences. But once you bought it and bring it home and tune some setting up. It will be a good tv. Bigger is better.

Even when buying an expensive tv, you still has a limited number of good 4k movies to showcast your tv. Netflix has few only 4k qualities, and fewer good ones. Even the 4k are decent qualities.

For me x90h, i like to use it for future console ps5 xbox etc . Because of the gimmick 120hz they advertise and the lower delay in gaming mode.

Now watching only good hd movies in netflix. Feel sad and nostaligic watching man tat n stephen chow.
