u guy only orthos at priority 1 ka....

Does it matter? I tried with different priorities and all yielded roughly the same result, so I just went back to the default... Which is 1 lo...

I usually just let ORTHOS run and leave my comp alone, until I hear the "beep beep" sound

the higher the priority the more stress it will be...

It's still taking up 100% from what I see, I don't use my comp so ORTHOS has the CPU all to itself

I've just up the clockspeed again, now running ORTHOS with higher priority... Which should I set by the way? (And please, not realtime )

i tried priority 10 once... hahahhaa. kaput straight BSOD. so cun rite

a noobie question here.... the priority is supposed to mean what? 10 = 100% ,9=90% load on cpu n so on?

Erm... No. it's something like Idle/Low/Normal/High/Realtime/whatever priority

i wonder who has done priority 10 here with 3.4GHz on either e2140 or e2160..

just used priority "8" lor

wah flattie u online 24/7 ah i must clock it back at 3.5Ghz and try priority 10 for OCCT 30 minutes.. see how syok it is

hahaha...mostly 24/7 lor...in front of my lab pc at werk....later at home in front of my rig...u oso the same what.... priority 10 is "kejam" already

ya la, same like you also, me uni i got programming work. ANd at home got programming work so i stay in front of the comp all the time. SYok man. But seriously, if we state that stability only comes when u achieve stable for P10 then surely everyone here including me will die.

Don't start with the P10 lar.. Later all asking already ..

dont die yet...if u die who going to finish ur uni programming ...if can do above 3.4GHz for 5 hours plus at Priority 8...i consider its stable enough already...

Hmm.. i did stress memory and cpu..
then on firefox.. surf for 20 mins.. then blue screen and restart XD

Is it OC too high? or stressing cpu and memory canot on other applications?

i usually surfing around, online with YM and torrenting at the same time orthos running coz boring to wait..if u want more stability in it...run a movie/video file oso which can make ur pc freeze if not stable...make sure u have enough free memory to do that....BSOD maybe connected to ur ram or need more voltage...

good idea there flattie, i wanna try this too, P8 with movies on the background. By the way, what version of e2*** should i buy hmm, for replacing/resting my e2140.. i am tempted to get e6600, or e6300. So that my baby can rest.
